I have a Miller X-TREME 12VS wire feed/ mig welder for sale. I bought this and didn't realize I couldn't use it. My loss and your gain. This mig feeder requires a power supply that I don't own. I'm sure if you are looking at this. You probably know what you need to use this. All I have is what is pictured. I do know that this mig wire feeder alone sells new for $2250 from Miller. The outer case for this welder normally sells for $200 used by itself, so that is my starting bid price. The only thing I can find that should be replaced before use is the grounding cable, as it is pretty worn out, as most do with use. Feel free to ask questions and I'll do my best to answer them, but I really know very little about this unit other than I was told it was tested and worked when I bought it. This is a 2004 XMT 304 300 Amp Welding Machine. I purchased it on ebay not long ago because i didn't understand that the 304 line has several Phased Machines and styles. This specific Machine is 3 Phase only! It is too exspensive to convert it over to Single phase. However you can buy a Transformer box for Single Phase to convert it to 3 phase power for the machine, it's called a Phase Converter, however i suspect this would be too much for me and something that could mess up and cost as much as the machine to repair in the future. However, This machine does work with exact output Current and Voltage as it reads, which means it's not been abused over the Duty Cycle and holds a constant voltage and current for good welds. This would weld 3/16 really good but mainly used for auto body patch panels. Sheet metal. If the metal is clean and maybe a V-butt weld would work good on 1/4 inch or welded from both sides. I've used it for exhaust work too and it's nice for that as well. It has the argon tank with it and is at 1000 lbs still and a partial roll of wire.
