For sale. Lincoln Idealarc CV 400 power supply. This unit is 3 phase and includes the welder with attached cart along with a 60 amp 3 phase connector. I purchased this welder from the LA county school district with the intent to sell it but haven't had the motivation to do so until now. I tested this welder with a suitcase feeder and it worked good. It's a 400 amp machine. Please see the attached pictures for the duty cycle. Voltage and amperage ratings. This listing includes the welder itself,a 100sg spool gun kit in the case,argon hose with an upgraded argon regulator as opposed to the junk one that came with the welder,argon tank of which I will have to check and see how much is left in it,2 new spools of aluminum rod,1 partial spool in the welder and 1 partial spool in the spool gun,plus some spare parts and tips as well. All items are tested and working and from my personal collection.Please note that although this setup is in really nice shape it is not perfect or cosmetically perfect so please realize this. I bought this a couple of years ago to use for welding in floor pans and such and making aluminum replacement parts for a couple of my cars. When I was done with this it ... moregot cleaned up and put in my basement and has been sitting there for the last 18 months. Before I listed this I tested it and ran a few beads on steel and aluminum to make sure that everything is still working properly,everything is working properly but I do think that the argon tank is about empty so whoever buys this will have to get it filled. This has never been out in the weather,never been wet,never been dropped,never been abused,and never used by anyone else other than me,I'm rather anal about anyone using any of my equipment or tools. As for the regulator, I spent 155.00 on a much better unit than the piece of junk that was sent with this welder when I bought it,the one that came with it was replaced three times under warrenty and the gauges were still off so I just bought a decent one so I would actually know what kinds of pressures I was running as opposed to guessing with the other one,a decent upgrade that anyone should do when buying one of these welders because it is worth it in the long run. No dents just a few light scratches.The only problem I see is a couple of the small plastic retaining teeth are broken off where the mig gun cable 2-pin plug plugs in(see photo)this has no effect on the operation of the welder(a very common problem with these welders) I just taped the plug with electrical tape and problem solved! Please do not confuse the Power Mig 140c with the lighter duty welders that are sold at big box stores.
