Up for auction we have a perfect gift set for the welder. This package includes an Everlast Powerarc 200ST(110/220v power) DC Stick and Tig Welder that is only 4 months old. Also includes a Brand new Hobart Discovery series auto darkening welding helmet and a Miller stick welder calculator. I purchased this welder back in August just to see how well it performed compared to my Miller maxstar 150. After several tests I determined that this Everlast Powerarc 200ST was a better welder than the Miller Maxstar 150. I sold the Miller after that. The Everlast runs 6010 sooooo much better it's not even close. I believe that is because the Everlast has the dedicated ground prot for running 6010 rod. This machine also runs 7018 like a dream. See the pics of a quick bead I ran with this machine running 5/32 7018 rod on about 160 amps. I'm just ... morea weekend warrior and if I can make it look good anybody can. This machine is extremely easy to run because of features like automatic hot start. I actually like this machine so much I took the money from selling my Miller Maxstar 150 and bought an Everlast Powerarc 300 not to long ago. I wish I could keep the 200 as well but since I bought the PA 300 I really can't justify having this sitting around since I don't really weld that often. I can assure you that these Everlast machines are comparable to the name brand machines I have used in the past and like I said about the Miller Maxstar 150 I think this machine welds better and offers more amperage for running 5/32 rod along with a better duty cycle. The best part about this welder is it can be plugged into a 110v outlet as well as a 230v outlet when you need the extra power. Makes it really versatile. This welder lists at $399 and includes the original receipt. There is a used one on e-bay right now for $340 and it's not even tested, this one has been tested and it runs great, see pics.
