The press is approximately 44 years old and was purchased new(except for one of the units) It has been used for newspaper and other commercial printing production continuously since that time. The press was retired due to the lack of an available pressman and in order to take advantage of process color capabilities at a nearby plant. Mdina Tiger Bottle Vase and Stopper from the small island of Malta on the Mediterranean for the Mdina factory in colours of jade. Eucalyptus green, umber, cobalt, gold, royal or sapphire blue, caramel, toffee, emerald, sea green, yellow ochre on a mesmeric jade and azure blue ground with enchanting lighter tinges of turquoise and aquamarine. The vase starts with a large generous circular polished base pontil which is signed- please see the last photo. The vase definitively displays ... morethe more uncommon Gourd shape- and is not of a Globe shaped variety. The vase gracefully ascends and splays outwards to form arcing lower reaches of a splendid curvature. The vase's slightly squat lower reaches then ascend to eventually form slightly tapering perimeter walls seen at it's mid region. The latter almost imperceptibly morphs or garduates into a superbly rounded high shoulder. The high shoulder itself leads the eye onto gently sloping and tapering slopes that are met with the piece's squat cylindrical neck. The latter then proceeds to splay outwards forming a short brimmed mouth. The circular splayed mouth is enhanced with a flattened circular outer plateau that surrounds a deep central chasm. The mouth of the vase itself has no lip whereby the clean lined contours of its stylish simplistic shape are rendered unbroken. The vase's crystal clear casing is of the highest clarity which can be easily seen at the vases mouthrim. The latter serves to heighten and accentuate the magical decorative elements that abound. The vase displays a beautiful ground of sapphire blue and jade that almost. imperceptibly merges and graduates into sublime light

Brooklyn NY" but we cannot find anything on this company. The outside box is black marbelized look with three(3) gold colored metal latches to keep it closed. That still work fine, but will need some polishing.The outside cover has some minor wear The outside case measures approximately: 43" long x 4" wide x 4" deep. The screen inside is attached on the bottom to the case. You just have to pull up with black cord included and the bars in the back will straighten up and form the outer frame(see photos) The screen is white with a narrow black ... moreborder and is in good condition for its age. There are no tears or damage, there may be a few"very tiny" spots(can not see unless you look very close) from age. Up for bid is a gorgeous jug manufactured by Harris Pottery in Chicago. Illinois in excellent used condition. It is 9 inches tall, 18 inches in diameter, with a 2 inch opening at the mouth. It is in excellent condition, shiny, glossy, and is free of any cracks or chips. The manufacturer sticker is still intact. This jug is a beautiful pottery piece. It has a white base. With a signed painted embellishment on one side. Featuring two purple plums, six cherries, and flower blossoms, this is a beautiful detail. The jug has a small handle near the top. The only flaws I can detect are surface contact marks on the underside of the jug. The jug does have a few tiny freckles on the glaze. A common occurrence in crockery. These are barely detectable unless you go looking for them. It was made in the USA by the Ames Harris Neville Company. San Francisco. It is all original with the tan bag, caring cord, and metal cap included. The condition is very good with no rips or tears.
