Vintage Shenango Restaurant Sugar Bowl Northern Dogwood Pattern
This is a very collectible. Scarce Northern Dogwood pattern Shenango, New Castle, PA restaurant sugar bowl. The lovely pattern is repeated all the way around the 2-1/4" high bowl. The diameter is about 3-3/4" and, without measuring, I would estimate the capacity to be about one cup. It is heavy, sturdy pottery and has the green Shenango China backstamp on the bottom. I'm not certain of the production date of this piece but it was acquired from an auction at which many old diner pieces from the 1950s and 1960s were being sold. It is in excellent. Shiny vintage condition but it has been used and does show minor utensil wear. This is an auction piece and is being sold as is. Vintage Shenango China Restaurant Ware Mini Creamer & Sugar Bowl
This is a very nice restaurant ware creamer and open sugar bowl by Shenango China. They match in pattern except for the fact that the sugar bowl has a ribbon in the pattern and the creamer does not. They both have different marks. The creamer measures 2 1/2" tall x 2 3/4" wide measuring from the spout to the outside handle. The open sugar measures 2 3/8" tall x 3 1/4" long x 2 3/4" deep. The creamer has K18 in its green mark and the open sugar has 220 in its black mark(see photos) They seem to be in good condition. The open sugar bowl has some very tiny base rim chips on one side and some shelf wear on the base rim. They make a nice set! Up for auction is a SHENANGO CHINA restaurant ware large oval serving bowl. The glaze is white with a nice high gloss. This serving bowl has a rolled edge and flat rim. This bowl is stamped with the Shenango China logo and" Shenango China. New Castle, PA. This part icular mark was used from the 1920's to early 1950's. The bowl is approximately 12 inches long and 9-1/4 inches wide. It stands approximately 2-1/8 inches tall. This is a substantial piece weighing close to three pounds. This piece is in excellent used condition. The glaze is bright an d shiny with very light use and utensil marks. The three sagger pin marks on the bottom are visible and are the result of the manufacturing process. They are not considered flaws or chips. There are two small specks of excess clay that are under glaze: one is on the rim edge and the ... moreother is inside the bowl near the bottom. These occurred during its manufacturing. You are bidding on four(4) dinner plates. Which are 9 3/4" across. The pattern is a pink& white stripe& they are marked"Studio Inn" in the middle. The bottom says Jackson China. Falls Creek, PA. All plates are shiny. But have been well used, with a lot of utensil marks. I see no chips on any of the pieces. There is discoloration around the white edges, due to age& usage. VNTG c1940 HOTEL RESTAURANT WARE BAUSCHER WEIDEN BAVARIA MODERNIST COFFEEPOT
A great vintage collectible coffee/tea pot from the 40" or 50's by Bauscher Weiden from Bavaria Germany. This is heavy white porcelain with the original lid. This model has a'drip less' feature on the bottom of the spout where there's a hole which is supposed to suck the last drip back into the pot. It has a very cool modernist look to it. This measures 7" tall. And 10" wide from tip of spout to edge of handle. The base is approx 4 1/2" in diameter. On the inside bottom of the pot is a stain. I've run my fingernail over it and it's not a crack, and there's no evidence of a crack on the outside area. It feels more rough as if maybe it's not glazed completely and has stained. The lid does have an area where there's a crack or chip, although not all the way through, as you can see in the ... morephotos, and it hasn't been repaired. Neither would affect the use of the pot, and there are no other flaws. This originally had a chrome cozy to keep the coffee warm, which is not included. Please ask any questions before bidding. The tropical pattern"Hawaiian" features an over all transfer print of hibiscus blooms and leaves in gray on a white body. Tepco produced this pattern 1955-1960's. Syracuse Company circa 1943- near the end of WWII. This scalloped plate has an embossed design on the rim with 22k gold trim on the rim and verge. The plate features a burgee flag at the top. This white tapered flag or pennant ends in a blue swallowtail having two points. It has a red crescent moon in the center. One plate has the name of the yacht"Abbiegena" written in red and the other in blue. We have not been able to find any information about this boat.
