Both have all original clean and sparkly hardware. Both have been used but likely in some attic because of better age& better condition as I found them. The one with NO EYE measures 3 inches. This one is known as"OLE BLACK JOE. It retains its chrome Butt Pin. it also has the old fashioned tie line addition. MY Opinion is that this is the sweetest of the two. VINTAGE SOUTH BEND ORENO TEASER SALTWATER LURE WOOD WITH GLASS EYES. 8 1/4" LONG Up for auction is a vintage South Bend Oreno Teaser saltwater lure with no hooks. These were used to attract large saltwater gamefish such as Sailfish and Marlin. This lure measures 8 1/4" Has a diameter of just over 1" And weighs just under 3 oz. This lure is in fair to good condition depending on how you look at it. As the pics show there are some paint nicks on the left facing side, the tail, and a little bit on the underside. The eyes appear to be cracked.This is still a very neat collectible South Bend item and would show very nicely from the right facing side. There were many of these made by South Bend that were marked Zane Grey, if you find one of those with the box they are worth a small fortune. ok.What we have here is a strinking open legged LUNY FROG.Might be the nicest one I have ever seen.possible a few flakes but in really special condition.in a OLD Unmarked brush box that damn close to perfect.box is amazing. second we have a Giant Vanp of the 7300 series I think.Glass eyes look great.there are a couple of rubs and a few pointers on this bait.but it def in very strong collection.it is in what i believe is the correct box. But there is some paper missing on one side and only the first 2 numbers(73) are visable.box shows a lot of wear but its nice if u appreciate the complete package. This package could att to veteran collection, or be a foundation from which to build on for a newer collection.Both present VERY well. PLZ look at my other listingsss.Much more to come, too.
