Antique Hamilton Beach of Racine. Wisc. sewing machine(believe these were used on other light tools too) motor and original rheostat speed control. AC-DC, No. S3211, motor 3 1/4" diameter, 5 1/2" long(includes shaft) assembly(with spring loaded base) 5 1/8" high, 6" long, 4 5/8" wide. Speed control 5" high, 9 1/2" long, 4 3/8" wide, pedal 8 1/8" long and 2 5/8" wide. Tried this bout 25 years ago, worked but CAREFULLY tried it just now. Motor and speed crontrol work, little slow but needs oiling,possibly brushes too. Think these were patented in 1917, but this is an early one, marked patent pending on the brass motor plate. Amazingly complete, original cords and plugs, but for anything other than display this needs new wires. Just a little scummy, wear on motor base and controler paint with ... morevery light rust in those areas, the motor body is aluminum, the nickel plating on the rheostat housing is excellent, overall this one is in exceptional condition.

Including the long round attachment and metal oiler, both of which are usually missing. I have never seen one with the long attachment. All rubber attachments are soft and pliable. This has a patent date of 1902. They stopped production in the 20's apparently because their use in pornography garnered them a bad sexual connotation in society at the time. Offered this evening is an antique electric motor manufactured by Hamilton Beach during the late 1910's or early 1920's. This style electric motor was invented by F.J. Osius and patented on Sept 18. 1917. These motors were offered for sale with many intended uses.among them was sewing machines. Victrolas, fans, attaching to small lathes, grinding wheels and much more. They were also popular with watchmakers for polishing parts. Metal badge on the front reads: 17 Patent No. 1.240,802 Hamilton Beach Home Motor 115 Volts 70 Watts No. 2S 378494 B D.C. A.C. Up To 75 Cyc. Hamilton Beach Co. Racine, Wis Division Of Scovill Manufacturing Co. Made In U.S.A. The piece measures approximately 6" in length. 6" high and 4.5" ... moreacross. Vintage Malted Milk Dispenser Hamilton Beach
You are bidding on a Hamilton Beach Malted Milk Dispenser I believe to be circa 1920's. It is Jadeite Green in color and seems to work freely after a little shot of WD 40 was applied. The glass globe is in great shape as is the unit its self. It does have a little discoloration on the front feet which might be buffed out but I do not know for sure. There is also one of the rubber foot pads missing- the other 3 are ok. It does have what I believe is the original lid which is very hard to come by especially in the Jadeite color. However. It is not in the great condition. It is cracked in several places and taped together with masking tape which has dried up. I scraped as much as I could and added a clear tape which looks better. I added a chrome knob on top which I believe is close to the original one. I did all of this to preserve as much ... moreof the original lid as I could. I did look into making a mold of this lid to reproduce another one. It can be done but I did not want to go to the trouble. This one is unique due to the matching Jadeite color. I called Hamilton Beach to see if I could get a replacement. The girl I spoke to stated they were not available and the one that they have on display in there show room does not have a matching lid. I will put on several pictures to show condition of lid and machine- a vintage piece of Americana. All of our items are sold AS-IS, but we always work with our customers.
