Vintage antique? professional chef French gas Crepe maker cast iron metal copper
This is a vintage professional Gas Crepe maker in rough but salvageable condition. It was purchased from a French American who said his chef father carried it to the US from France. I cant find any makers marks so I can not date the piece accurately. Virtually the entire unit is covered with surface scratches and rust. This does not compromise the integrity of the unit. I think it would be possible to remove most of this with steel wool or an abrasive chemical. I think it may polish up nicely but since I am not sure if it is an antique I decided to leave any restoration to the buyers discretion. The removable top circular grill is almost 16" across and about 1/2(5) thick so it is most of the weight of the unit. The 3 gas rods and all the valves are copper. Which has some greening.
