WOW. Yet another fisherman modified Heddon creation I'm auctioning this week. But. This one's different as, in this example, an L-Rig, glass eyed Heddon Tadpolly is NOT disposed of, but rather"turned into" a heavily weighted, hand made and hand painted FISH DECOY for winter ice/ spear fishing use, by an enterprising and cost-conscious old time fisherman. Cool! Note the added lead belly weights and hand cut and painted tin fins. Suprisingly, the original glass eyes remain in great condition. These altered. Made by fisherman decoys are great attention getters and fun to buy. Many folks even collect them. Why? While not common, they are out there if you look and are fun to display. This is group of 7 Heddon lures all made of plastic or called spooks. There is a 3/8 oz Baby Chugger with a box. Perch color, 2 River Runts that are sinkers, one comes with a box, they are red and white, 1 Dying Flutter in a white scale, 1 Vamp in yellow shore, 1 jointed River Runt in yellow scale, and 1 Tadpolly in red and white. All the lures show minor wear, and may need a cleaning. I would say they are in good condition, with no missing hardware and all hooks are intact. Thanks for looking!
