Old IHC LA/LB Hit Miss Gas Engine Motor Valve Cover Wing Nut Steam Magneto
This is an original valve cover wing nut for a 1 1/2hp or 3-5hp International Harvester type LA or LB gas engine. It is in good condition for it's age. Has perfect threads and is ready to be used on an engine. It would clean up and paint very nicely. These original wing nuts were often replaced with a standard wing nut so if you need an original cast iron one here's your chance. The pictures tell the story. Old IHC LA Hit Miss Gas Engine Motor Valve Cover Steam Tractor Magneto Oiler
This is an original valve cover for a 1 1/2- 2 1/2hp International Harvester type LA gas engine. It may fit the 3-5hp engines as well. It measures about 2 3/4 inches deep to go over the head and valves so measure your engine to be sure. It is in good condition for it's age with no dings or dents of any kind. The swinging tab door works as it should. It would clean up and paint very nicely. The only flaw that I've noted is a small"tear" in each side the could easily be welded and blended before painting. These original valve covers are tough to find in any condition and this one just needs a little elbow grease to be perfect. The pictures tell the story.
