7 mixed red Venetian decorated White Heart beads, ~6-16mm long and ~9-10mm wide. These beads were made in the late 1800's/early 1900's and were bought in West Africa in 1970- 1980. They are in poor/fair condition depending on the bead. Showing many signs of wear(large chips/broken pieces- not all shown in photo) due to age and use as trade beads. This was put out as an advertisement for the Au Bon Marche department store in Paris. Back shows image of the store. Front shows color image of the Aesop Fable of the Fox and Crow. When you open out the card. There is a three dimensional image of a magician, in fancy 18th century costume, performing magic for four people. The two on the far left and right are chefs or cooks. You are standing behind the magicians and can see the cups on his table. Text below the image, in French is: Apprenez que tout flatteur Vit aux dépens de celui qui l'écoute. On line translation is: Learn that every flatterer Lives at the expense of the listener. ... moreIf the fox on the front flatters the crow. And gets him to drop the cheese in his beak, then perhaps the magician flatters the audience and is rewarded what they give up. This card has had repairs. And is worn, as listed under the condition. In Very Fine to Mint condition, this card has sold in the past from $25.00 to $100.00. Since this is in only Good condition, bidding starts at $9.99 and there is no reserve. DATE: Circa 1880s/90s SIZE: 3 3/4 by 4 7/8 inches. CONDITION: This card is worn. The front. With fox and crow, and back, with image of Au Bon Marche department store has surface scrapes, edge and corner wear. The inside of these two pages also have wear. As seen on the right of the scanned image. On the left, in the scanned image, you see the fold-out in two views. The fold-out is in better condition. The bottom of the table legs, and the magicians legs, had small bends on the bottom where they joined the ground strip, but still full attached. Small strips of white card were cut to back up these narrow pieces and glued, with acid free glue, on the inside. So while worn, the inside is still workable as seen in the two photos on the left side of the attached image.

Extremely Rare Vintage Twin Towers Metal Souvenir Building WORLD TRADE CENTER
RARE Souvenir Piece* Vintage Twin Towers Metal Souvenir Building WORLD TRADE CENTER 6" Tall From Old Estate in North Carolina Very Nice Condition See the attached 12 photos Metal Twin Towers Pre 9-11 Souvenir Building. It is most likely the first miniature metal replica of the Twin Towers ever sold atop the WTC in the gift shop. This is a rare 5 piece miniature metal replica. The base is a separate piece and the two towers each being two separate pieces. In the pic I do not have the towers forced together as tightly as they can be so you can see how it goes together. Of equal appeal to this great old souvenir building is the fact that the towers are much more in scale to the base. Most replicas have the two towers being a little stubby and short to their base footprint. Yet more is the fact that this piece includes WTC buildings 3, 4, ... moreand 5(the other buildings) The towers were WTC 1 and WTC 2. This is a nice tall piece standing 6" tall. Base footprint is 3.5 by 3" with WORLD TRADE CENTER and NEW YORK CITY around the side edges. Copper wash has a nice age softened bronzey patina. Buyer pays the shipping cost.

Vtg Hudson's Bay 4 Point Striped Wool Blanket- Made in England. 63"x83" Trade. The Hudson Bay Four Point blanket is made of wool. It is tan with thick red. Black, green and yellow stripes at each end. It has blanket stitching around the edges but it is worn in a few areas with one area repaired. The blanket measures approximately 84"x66" It is in very nice. Pre-owned condition without any rips or tears. There are some minor worn spots consistent with age and use and it could probably use a light cleaning prior to its first use. The tag has been worn/torn/cut off by the previous owner and it looks like an area on the edge may have been repaired. This is a beautiful blanket- guaranteed to keep you nice and warm this winter!
