Rare Disney Goeble New Arrivals Brochure Display or Vase - 1984
Up for auction is a Very Rare Disney Goebel New Arrivals Brochure Display Container or Vase from a local estate. It is a fired ceramic piece. The artwork is not a decal; this was probably applied by silk screen or similar prior to the final clear glaze and firing. This was most likely the container that held the sales brochures for the Goebel New Arrivals Figurines and Music Boxes. And was likely located near the checkout counter in the Theme Park Souvenir Stores. I have never seen one of these for sale, it is truly a rare find. Here's a 4.25x6.5" 2-sided black& white flyer with red imprint"Opens May 1. 1964" plus the 8 page sides 3.75x6.25" brochure one got at the show(that had been at the San Francisco World's Fair also. 2 items but the brochure has been cut into 2 parts slightly uneven and I got it this way. The announcement flyer is reduced from features in the SEATTLE TIMES and is very hard to read in parts.

Galvanized& black wood time card holder. Would also make a great brochure holder! Dimensions: 23" L x 2.25" W x 21.5" H. Card slots are approximately 5" W x 4.5" D. There are 48 card slots(12 rows of 4 columns) Front& sides have been painted black. There are white numbers by most of the slots. But the order is odd. Very sturdy and in great condition! It's pretty heavy, so I ADVISE LOCAL PICK-UP(Burlington IA or Galesburg IL) but I will ship to you. Buyer pays full shipping cost.

The brochure does have wear but it is pretty good condition considering it's age. All the items I sell are pre-owned and may have wear from age. Use, and storage. I bought a collection of 1970s-1980s vintage BMW car and motorcycles from a dealer that went out of business in 1990. Condition ranges from mint NOS unused to some wear and tear from displaying. I imagine these are quite rare. Perhaps 1-2 per dealership in the 80s, how many were thrown away? If you want more than one I can certainly combine shipping to save you $$$.
