Display Case Capsule Light - Movie Props, Collectables Haunted House, Halloween
Here is a nice display case that would be great to store a movie prop. Possibly use in a haunted house or whatever you might want. This is for the case ONLY and not the contents in it(black stand. Glass box, frames, pics. prop, etc. are not included) as this is just to show what you could use it for. This capsule measures approx. this is the interior meas. space for what can fit in case) 20" width x 24" depth x 48" height. So you're looking at 4 feet for what you might want to put in it. A small kid could fit in it which might be cool for some possible haunted house scene. The actual whole case meas. are approx. 27" at widest point x 24' x 57" 3/4 from floor to top of case. There is a halogen spot light mounted on the top wooden piece in which this is mounted to the top glass piece. This wood could be painted ... moreblack to match the base if one choose to but I have never gotten around to doing so. This was originally a watch case and I gutted it, painted the base along with adding the light making it into what you see now. This was used in retail so there are some scratches and some wear throughout the plexiglass. There is a section on the lowest point of the base where the laminate has come away from the wood. This could be reglued but is not really noticeable as it's on the side of base and is at the lowest point. I received the wrong key so it does not actually lock but you could actually replace the lock if you wanted. I have velcrow strips that keep the door closed which works great if your not concerned about locking. Due to size and weight I can not ship this out and will be a pick up only. This is nice and stable due to the weight of wooden base as it is pretty heavy. Please see all pictures for condition. Unique Antique Jansen Louis XVI Ebonized Mahogany Gilt Carved Shabby Display
Antique Jansen Louis XVI Ebonized Mahogany Display Desk This maginificent display table/bureauplat is charmingly shabby. Though unsigned. It is almost certainly by Maison Jansen. The style, the quality of workmanship, the materials, are clearly of the highest quality. Please see picture number 6 for a close up of the underlying wood grain, which appears to be mahogany(though walnut is not an impossibility) The framed glass top. Reveals 2 separators with gilded scrolling, providing areas for 3 locked drawers. The locks are brand new and not original. This piece would make an impressive jewelry or fine fashion arts display case of pure perfection for any shop featuring an upscale shabby chic style. A nearly identical piece is shown in the June 2013 New York Times Style Magazine on pages 86-87 STYLE: The ebonized mahogany and carved and gilt ... moremolding identify this piece as an interpretation of neoclassical Louis XVI style favored by Maison Jansen and European early 20th century royalty and the Kennedy White House. The republic style legs place it most likely in the 1920-30's era. WORKMANSHIP: The intricate carving. Gilded moldings, and ebonizing are of days-gone-by and simply unavailable in today's market. Though the legs appear somewhat fragile supporting the weight of the overall table, they are solidly attached with heavy metal flanges and grommets. The drawers show the dovetail joints(pictures 9 and 10) All joining of the piece are solid and exhibit NO separation. MATERIALS: Though wood identification is difficult with painted furniture. There are enough small areas with worn paint to show the underlying wood. This is unquestionably a very hard wood, and given the reputation and standards of Maison Jansen, this is almost certainly mahogany. I bought these recently on eBay but they were the wrong size for my display. From the seller I bought these from his description was- Nice because they are from one of the first displays for these"new" superfast cars. Dated at bottom 1970. One panel shows labels for cars 39 thru 57. The other 58 thru 75. Wish I had all 4, but this is all that turned up in the old house. While I have given them a light cleaning, they would certainly benefit from a more thorough job. There are light scratches overall on the clear plastic, with a couple of nicks to the screening as well. Some small remnants of scotch tape will need to be removed. The edges have a little wear on the corners as seen in the pictures. The back part of the cardboard has never been folded out. This is a beautiful piece of Moxie memorabillia. For your consideration.A WAVE STYLE display fin to finish off your classic old board in style.A lot of you asked for these display fins so here you are.Every one is unique and one of a kind.Handcrafted,No injection molding,no machines just hand labor and 40 years of shared learning from many great waterman.Each fin takes 12 hrs to complete by hand.THis example is a gorgeous McTavish pattern from the late 1960s when they were going small V-Bottoms and S-Decks were the norm.This fin looks great in any board and the color sets it off so youll be"stoked" when you drive to the classic show. Overall size is 12" with a approx 10" fin height and an approx 7" base.Nice silky Aussie rake on this one with an expanding foil.Translucent seafoam green or for you southern folk, Carribean green.Black base. This is a big fin and weighs almost a lb.Price is a bit higher due to materials used.All hardware comes with fin including wrench and friction/compression spacers(for a perfect fit in any board) and finished out to 120 grit ready for you to gloss or leave as is.The bases were sand-molded so there are a few few tiny visuals of that,but glossing would take care of that should you desire. This fin will fit 98% of all WAVE boxes as is. All of those cool boxes do vary by 3-9 mm due to age,molding and shrinkage,so that was taken into consideration in making these.Even the height will vary due to thickness or thinness of the tail of your board as the makers shaved the Wave boxes down to accommodate V and other bottom contours( yup, took that into consideration too)I used over 20 boards with the system as a baseline to make this standard temp[ate.If its not drop in ready for the 2% variance out there,don't fret,a few passes with a sheet of 220 grit on each side Or a pass along the bottom will customize your fit for you.Sorry even the old ones need sanding to fit right.A great way to finish off and display you

From my collection. I have enjoyed these Japanese geisha dolls for several years now. Now time to go to another home! They are handmade and most likely from the 1950's but I am not an expert. They could be a little older. They each measure about 3 inches in height. They are in great condition. The glass dome display case is included in the great auction price. The glass dome case alone cost close to $10.00. I bought the glass dome display case to help keep these two gems dust free. Their kimonos are silk and one carries a toy ball. I cannot recall the name of the ball but these are hard to find intact. They are made using a grain of rice. Then, by hand, material is wrapped around the grain of rice until it becomes ball-shaped.
