CIGAR STORE INDIAN COUNTER DISPLAY CANDY CONTAINER HIDDEN SAFE COMPARTMENT!!
This is a very tall(over 20 inches tall. 7 inches wide& 6 inches deep) Cigar Store Indian and weighs in close to 6 pounds. This item is very unusual as it is in two pieces and with the top cover off, there is a 3 1/2 x 2 1/4 x 7 inch deep hollowed out space which I assume could be used for candy on a counter display or maybe used as a secret hiding place in someone's home. Whatever the use, this unusual Cigar Store Indian appears to be in one piece and is a very attractive figure of the famous Indian style display. It appears to be made of some sort of resin or very hard plastic and from a distance gives the appearance of being made of wood, especially with the grooved lines on the statue. It is in excellent condition with no noticeable damage. Beautiful 18 size(2 1/8" in diameter) 21 jewel early Illinois Bunn Special gold filled display back pocket watch that provides a great view of the movement in excellent running order and very good cosmetic condition. The two tone damascened movement(serial number 1356378 circa 1898 is marked"21 Ruby Jewels" and"Adjusted" includes six solid gold jewel settings and solid gold balance wheel weights. The plates have incredibly beautiful damascening(I believe it is the"3rd" pattern"Gold Inlaid Circle" pattern. This movement has just been serviced) cleaned. Oiled and timed, the balance rotates true and with very strong motion, this watch keeps excellent time. The nickel plates are without any extraneous scratches and there is no corrosion on the steel work. The double sunk white enamel RR style dial ... moreis in very good condition with only one hairline crack between the subsidary seconds dial and the center of the dials, there is also a very small"flake" by the 20 minute numeral on the edge of the dial. This beautiful dial includes red 5 minute numerals and is fronted by a very nice set of matching blue spade hands. The gold filled display back case is also in very good condition without any wear through or noticable scratches. The front and back thick beveled glass crystals are New Old Stock and do not have any scratches or chips.

Oh so very cool ARTHUR COURT lucite& aluminum turtle. This guy is very large and is 2 pieces. The base is lucite with the standard turtle"shell" shapes into the lucite with cast aluminum head. Legs and tail. There are a couple minor scratches, nothing serious. The top is a rounded lid the a hole in the center to use as the handle. There are some scratches on this, I find they are less noticeable when you have it on the turtle. All the lucite seems very clear. The turtle measures 21" from head to tail and 17" wide at front feet about 15" wide at back feet. Roughly 8" high with lid on. There are no markings, but these are the same turtle parts as the magazine rack done by ARTHUR COURT. This is great as a serving piece or a display piece or just set out for decoration. Vintage Art Deco Manning Bowman Coffee Percolator - Working - Great Display Item
You are bidding on an vintage Art Deco Chrome Coffee Percolator with an orangish bakelite handles. Made by Manning Bowman. Has original basket. Cloth covered cord, and stopper. The stopper has no chips or cracks. It measures approx. 15" high and 10 wide and 28" in circumference. It is in great vtg condition with a few dings from years of use/storage. No problems whatsoever with the bakelite. The base has a rub mark(pic 9) which will probably come out with a mild cleanser. There is a slight drip at the valve when percolating. Imagine in needs an internal rubber gasket? Mind you, it is old. This is a very, very, beautiful piece and comes from a prominent estate in Las Vegas, Nevada. The coffee maker works and perks fine. These were originally made as party percolators. Please note. These percolators don't automatically shut off! ... moreOnce the coffee perks it needs to be unpluged. There is a fuse on the base which prevents the percolator from getting too hot and overheating. This is an exceptional display piece for the kitchen or even the vtg. home bar. Gorgeous! Antique Vintage J&P Coats Thread Spool Cabinet General Store Display Small NIce!
This is a really cool and really rare small J&P Coats spool cabinet with needle drawer(I have never seen one of these of this size. Or with a drawer) It measures 22-3/4" tall. 15-3/4" wide and 8-1/4" deep. These sat on the counter of old time general stores. Most of them I have seen were larger more complicated pieces. I find this one more attractive, and easier to display.it could sit on a shelf, or hang on the wall to display things in. It has two shelves inside, and judging from the same patina on all of the wood, I don't think this has been altered(the decal on the front is a reproduction though) It has nice matching glass knobs on the drawer and the roll-up door. The door has the nice original backing and slides up and down as it should. I do not know if this originally had a back on it, I can see no nail holes ... moreor other markings to indicate that there ever was one. Included is a period box of black thread(11 spools) on the old time wooden spools with the correct logo on the ends. Please see my other auctions for antique and vintage items.
