An awesome set of Seymour Duncan HB custom wound humbuckers(by Maracela Juarez) I had asked for a pickup along the lines of the Antiquities with shiny covers and slightly overwound. She made these for me with double cream coils under the covers(never removed) and extra long leads. Used on a 335. At least 12" on both. The neck reads 7.89 and the bridge 8.54. She used calibrated A2 magnets. They sound superior and will work well in any typical humbucker application. Shipping is $12 in US48.

1800's Brass Tourniquet - Maw & Son - Civil War Era - Wound Surgical Amputation
Up for auction is an original 1800's Brass Tourniquet that I believe was once part of a Surgeon's Amputation set. It is clearly marked"S. Maw& Son London" on one side of the"T" handle. My research revealed a similar style of tourniquet dat ing back to 1798 but I believe this is from the Civil War era or before. The tourniquet measures approx. 3 1/4" tall and the lower base measures approx. 2 1/8" x by 1 1/2" I imagine that it was probably sold without a strap as any piece of cloth or fabric would suffice and it would not be too difficult to fashion one. This is a handsome 3-chime Seth Thomas carriage clock with an A 403-002 movement. It was manufactured in Germany in approximately 1978. The term carriage came to describe clocks that were transported. Hence the handle on the top. It is a Legacy V strike-an-chime clock. By moving a chime selector lever it plays three different chime tunes. One is the familiar“Westminster Chime. another is the tune of“ St. Michael. and the third is“ Whittington. It chimes every 15 minutes and strikes on the hour. By moving the lever into the fourth position. The chimes are silenced while the clock continues to tick. The brown wooden case of the clock is in excellent condition. There are no scratches or chips because it has been lovingly cared for since its purchase.

fender telecaster tele bridge & pickup early 60s hand wound vintage
i only ship to addresses in the usa. This is an original early 60s tele bridge and pickup from the estate of george fullerton, comes with a letter of authenticity describing its history from georges family,the bridge has a bit of rust around the 2 center mount holes it was used alot it says fender and has pat number,the pickup is hand wound it measures 5.27 ohms, the 2 center poles are raised the others protrude from the fiber a tiny bit not flush, has cloth covered wires,the name steve mathews is written in pen on a strip of masking tape in georges hand writing on the bottom, under the ground plate there is a strip of tape with his writing on it that says#42 wire pe 1650 turns no sealer, i think he meant 7650 turns, but thats what it says, george obviously was working on the pickup specifically for steve and for some reason it was never ... moreput back on his tele. this is a one of a kind artifact from the golden age and from the man who designed the tele with leo,has serious mojo

1896 Hayward W. Cushing autography, Cushing Stitch Used in 1905 Combat Gut Wound
Nice letter on Hayward W. Cushing's stationary and dated Aug 1896 and titled Dear Doctor. Cushing was a contemporary of Harvey Cushing and they often times got each other's mail. Hayward is famous for his stitch called the Cushing Stitch first used in the Russian Japanese war for soldiers with gut wounds. Here is the information we found on our famous doctor.
