This auction is for a set of four copper etch prints by The Late R.H. Palenske. Palenske was a famed naturalist and outdoorsman. A great portion of his experience came from the Northwest Wilds. The condition of the etchings are wonderful. There are some lines in the etchings paper. Not sure if that is when they were placed on to the matting. The matting is in excellent condition. The original folder is in great protective condition, there is a aprox 1" tear on the top back portion of the folder. Simply put the internal construction is like a roll of paper. So there is the start or inner or input- the inside of the roll, and a finish or outer or output- the outside of the roll. You can connect the capacitor either way round it won`t cause any problems, however it is preferable to connect the outer foil to the negative side. This is basically the part of the circuit that is nearest the earth potential. For Jensen capacitors the inner foil is marked by a line. See the diagram below. The reason for this preference is that the outer foil of the capacitor is the part that will see most interferences. So better to have this nearest the ground where unwanted noise can be earthed. Please note that some of the Jensen capacitors have an inner foil end that marked by red and an outer end marked by black.
