This is a very nice tea kettle for mountaineering in nearly mint condition. I've never seen one like this. I would really like to keep it for myself. But need to sell some stuff. This is very well made and lightweight. 7.1 ounces/ 200 grams. 7 inches(18cm) in diameter x 3" 7.5 cm) tall. This is about a liter I assume. This is a great piece! This is an un-issued U.S. M1917 WWI helmet. As you can see in the pictures there is still packing paper stuck to the inside of the liner. When these helmets were manufactured and boxed. A piece of brown paper would be placed between each helmet when stacked. At some point this helmet was taken out. Painted dark blue, then a rack or inventory number of“313” was hand painted under the brim and restacked. The paint does show some chipping along the brim and scuffs and scratches. Also there is plenty of storage dirt and dust mixed in with the heavy textured paint. Under the liner you can still see the original OD green paint. This entire ... morehelmet and liner is 100% original. You will not find a nicer original liner and leather chinstrap than this one! The instruction tag. The felt, the leather, the webbing and stitching is just about as mint as you can get! The only stamp I can find inside the liner is very faint and hard to read(see close up picture) The leather Chinstrap is stamped for size 7 1/8. The underside of the shell is stamped in the brim with“ZA248” Not sure what the history of the blue paint is. But I have no doubt it is period done and very old: If I had to guess I would say either Police or Navy issue and never got used? This is a vintage advertising sewing kit for The Cudahy Packing Co U.S.A. makers of Puritan Hams Bacon Lard. The binding edge is cracked about 3/4 of an inch and the number 8 needles are missing. On the inside it says"Abel Morrall's Egg Eyed Sharps. MADE IN ENGLAND" The case has been well used. The Kit is 4 1/4 inches tall by 2 1/2 inches wide. My pictures are part of my description. Offering a Red Wing Way Home Packing Preserving Book. It was issued by Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. of Red Wing. Minnesota. It has 32 pages of preparing and preserving food using Red Wing Stoneware. The front page has some damage but the back is very good. It appears that someone hung it up on a nail, but it is in good shape for its age, see photos. I would guess its age as early 1900s. The interior pages are quite interesting. It measures 8 3/4" x 5 3/4" It will be sent in a hard Plastic Cover in a Bubble Envelope.

Camping Up for consideration is a vintage Optimus 8R hiking stove made in Sweden. This is a nice old stove that. Though is hasn't been fired in a while, should operate reliably. Cosmetically, the case has some wear to the paint and as seen in the photos there has been an attempt to touch up the bare spots. The bottom of the case is rough and again has been painted over. The stove portion of the package is in excellent condition with minimal patina and valves that turn freely. This is a nice package that is suitable for hiking or adding to a vintage camping gear collection.
