I have for sale one 3/4 inch manifold from US DIVERS aqua lung. The j valve lever is missing and the manifold needs a good cleaning. But I am sure that a little elbow grease and a new j valve lever will make this manny great again. The on off knob works smoothly and the chrome looks pretty good, just dirty. Get this manifold for cheap if for nothing else than for parts. I do not come across these very often so dont let this one escape. Just another great offering from the scuba museum. Up for bid is a nice old handmade spearing decoy. It has a wooden handpainted body that I believe was black to begin with. It has faded red and black painted eyes. It features handcut and painted tin fins with some red/orange paint still visible. It also is the neatest size I've ever seen being 3 3/4" long and 7/8" thick at it's widest point. Vintage Hardy" The Silex Major" 3 3/4 Inch Reel This lovely Hardy's"Silex Major" reel is in"as found" Used condition and has not been restored or repaired by us. The reel measures 3 3/4 inches across and has"The Silex Major. Pat. Nos. 2206, 21131& 4163, Size 3 3/4" Made By Hardy Bros Ltd, Alnwick, England" impressed in to the back plate. The rim regulator screw and dial work fine. As does the brake lever. The reel revolves well and has a good action. The alloy release latch works fine and ribbed brass foot is well attached and sturdy. The handles are solid and secure. The front plate retains some of the original finish. However, there is some pitting ... morethe a section of the rim and some"line burn" marks to the struts. But nothing that detracts from the oveall appearance of the reel. Internally the reel is stamped with the initials T.A. Which I believe, is the name of the gentleman who made the reel, Thomas Appleby, he worked for Hardy's from 1920- 1947. The does have the usual scratches and scuffs that you would expect from the years of use. All adds to its' character and charm, so evocative of times and anglers past. Tall Pfeiffer's Beer Johnny Fifer Old Chalkware Statue figure 13 3/4 inch
Pfeiffer's Beer Johnny Fifer Chalkware Statue Figure NOT perfect(see the defects listed below)but considering the age.a wonderful piece with still VIBRANT Colors! Pfeiffer Brewing Company operated in Michigan for many MANY years before shutting their doors back in the 70's. During their heyday they used to send out these chalkware figure s to their vendors and to the bars that sold their beer. Today. They've become quite collectible as both collectible chalkware AND as collectible advertising pieces AND as collectible Breweriana. THIS chalkware piece is considered a good find because of its' size(it's bigger than the more common small 7"8" ones) and its design(they didn't release as many of these) He would date to the 1950's. Measures 13 3/4" Tall. The base is 6 7/8" wide& 4 1/2" deep. ... moreIt's NOT in PERFECT condition but considering its' age and the fact that they don't make these anymore(obviously)he still displays wonderfully. Upon close inspection I found that his nose must have broken off and then been remounted(probably glued back on) at some point. I could be wrong as I'm not an"expert" on chalkware.OR how they make it.but I think that's the case so I mention it(and picture it below) for accuracy. The only other"issue" I can find is that the end tip of his right index finger isn't there. I've pictured this also below. You can usually find a few of the smaller 7" figures for sell.but these bigger ones.LOL.not so much This particular design is also desired because when they made him they made his hands really large. There is a makers mark stamped into the back of the base but no matter how hard I try I just cannot make it out. I've pictured it below. I can make out the words"Company. U.S.A.
