Mid Century Bourbon Gin & Scotch Decanter Bottles w Pouring Spout 32oz Duraglas
This is a 1950's Bourbon Decanter by Duraglas that holds 32 oz. The bottles have a gold colored applique on the outside which is in perfect condition with no color loss. Duraglas" is embossed on the lower back of the bottle. The metal dispensers appear to be chrome and are in excellent working order. The rubber tends to get hard over time but these are great. The set must have not been used very much. One chrome pourer has some minor pitting(tried to take picture but doesn't show well) and the rest have no age damage. There are no scratches. Scuffs or chips, all in all this set is in remarkable condition for its age. It is difficult to find all three bottles in this condition. Each bottle measures 11" tall and 4 1/2" wide. Note: When I took the pictures I had just washed the bottles and some drips show in the glass ... morebottles. I do not charge for packing materials or handling. The set will be wrapped well and insured for safe delivery. I ship within 24 hours! All the items I list are vintage(most several decades old) and as such are not new. They have lived a long. Here is a fabulous find that I came across recently. It is a vintage Tube Rose Sweet Scotch Snuff glass jar with a tin lid. The jar was made for the Brown and Williamson Tobbaco Company. You can see the reverse writing on the bottom of the jar. It is written within an image of a tobacco leaf. Very cool. The lid is made of tin. It is rusty. But it has not worn through. The jar is sealed tightly. There are parts of the label that are missing, but you can still read the name of the product. It is a very cool old piece. The jar does not have any chips or cracks in it. The jar measures 4 inches tall and is 2 3/4 inches in diameter at the top. I do not know how much tobacco it originally held. I have the checked the label. 24 Levi Garrett& Sons Tobacco Scotch and Rappee Snuff bottles FREE SHIPPING, Description: This listing is for 24 Levi Garrett& Sons Tobacco Scotch and Rappee Snuff bottles. Each bottle has a Levi Garret label and most have tax stamps. I used a loose tape measure to measure the bottles. With the tape measure laying flat to the curves of the bottle. There are two variants. The taller bottle is approximately 4 7/16” tall with a 1 5/16” diameter lip. The other is approximately 4 ¼” tall with a 1 5/16” diameter lip. There are 17 larger bottles and 7 of the bottles are of the shorter variety. Condition: There are no chips or cracks in the bottles. The glass is clear. I gently removed most of the dust from the outside by rubbing it off with a micro fiber cloth lightly dampened. I was careful not to get any moisture near the labels. ... moreThere is still a bit of dust on the inside of the bottles. Most of the labels are firmly in place. A few are beginning to lift.
