Rare antique store adjustable shoe display measures 11" high x 9" wide with the bottom of the stand being 6" in diameter. The two shoe holders are adjustable with three holes on the underside to display the shoes from various angles. It is constructed of oak wood with a cast iron counter weight on the base. This is a terrific piece of the past. The store fixture came from a 100 yr old mercantile. They found many old store fixtures stored in the upstairs rooms when they prepared to sell the building. Up for auction is a store display made for Benefit cosmetics. This display is in good condition and shows no excessive wear. It has been on display in a retail outlet where it was used. The edges of the"house" have bent corners and small blemishes that do not detract from the greatness of this display. It measures out at 8 1/2 inches wide. 8 inches deep, and 21 inches high. This display is meant to resemble a cuckoo clock. The place where the bird would come out features a place for a tester. No mechanical parts featured on this display.
