Vintage folding/collapsible fishing rod/pole
The makers of this fine fishing pole should have been put on. But it is not. It is very well made, and is true and straight, no kinks and not broken. The cork portion, has got a few dings from use, please see pictures. When fully extended it is 59 inches long. The individual rod pieces are made of what looks like copper, the eye lets are also made of copper. The cap that the rod goes into is made of brass, the part that the fishing reel is attached to is made of aluminum. The whole thing is very durable, and I would not be afraid to use it with a light line for a small type of fish. The dollar bill is for size comparison, and is not sale with this auction.collapsible

Vintage 16" 10" Collapsible Fiberglass Fishing Pole Rod HUGE!
Up for bids is a very long 16' 10" long collapsable fishing pole. End of pole unscrews and comes off. Missing an eye on tip of pole. There are a total of 5 eyes on this pole. Some protective plastic is still attached only because it comes off in little pieces and we didn't have the patience to take it all off. Bought it about 15 years ago. This very rare and hard to find Leica Hektor 50mm F2.5 nickel collapsible screw mount lens is in good condition cosmetically. Mechanically and optically. A very early example. No serial number. This lens was made available from 1931- 1948. The first year of production they were released as a fixed lens on the Leica I(a) bodies. This is a very early first year of screw mount production 1932 example in nickel finish with the 7 o'Clock focusing tab position and without the infinity focusing lock mechanism. A very hard to find lens, even harder to find very early example. Cosmetically shows signs of use but no abuse. Mechanically working well; focusing is smooth and aperture ring is smooth. Optically clean and clear; no fungus, separation or scratches. Orvis FLy Fishing net w handle FOLDING compact vintage metal collapsible old
Purchased at an old estate sale. From a former avid fly fisherman. I have not seen this style before. I cannot find a makers mark, but I believe it is an ORVIS North Fork model. Condition is excellent, and ready to use. It likely was used in the past, but is ready to go. The metal handle slides up or down, and securely locks into place the hoop and handle when extended. To close just pull the handle back and fold it back on itself. To open, pull the handle back, and it snaps into place. Measures 22" long when opened, x 8" wide. Net hoop is 13" x 8" The net is about 22.5" long. Net looks intact, I dont see any holes in it. When folded up it is 9.5" x 4" I will include the old military belt worn holder, it fits fine, and was found together like this.I do not think the holder is original to the net. Here is a lot of six complete metal fold up Music Stands. Plus extra parts for other stands. Three are 3 Hamilton 400s. 1 Belmont, 1 Laman, and one no name. Plus the other parts are mixed pieces that may come in handy in the future. I even assembled one. And took a photo of it in front of the garage door. Ok, my camera skill aren't the greatest, but you get the idea. Three of them have rub tips on the legs. The other 3 are slick willies.
