Conveyor speed, or many other uses. This item is fully guaranteed or your money back. I have set up a few of these and it is fairly straight forward. The default settings will cover most applications. But there are many cool features that can be implemented such as external potentiometer control or digital interface to a computer. It can control max and min current. Start up time ... moreslow down time braking and all the usual high tech parameters you would expect. Can be programmed from it's own front key pad and the step by step directions in the manual(download on line) so as to match your motor or spindle exactly. Can also over speed your motor if the motor will stand the extra RPM's. Typically 25 to 50% is safe. But check your spec sheet. Since the drive can go to 200 Hz, and most motors are designed for 60 Hz it would be posible to destroy a motor unless the upper speed is properly programmed. The readout can also be programmed to read out in RPM or amps or volts or frequency or other parameters. Sounds complex. But the manual is very easy to follow and explains every step in the process.
