This motor controller is a NON-WORKING customer return. The customer connected high voltage to the 12-volt input and burned the low-power electronics. ALL the high-power electronics have been TESTED and are working fine. If you can replace the low-power electronics. Then this is an easy fix for a fairly expensive controller. Replacement electronics are still available, but they will have to be retrofitted because the connections are different. You're looking at a very lightly used EP-1000 DC motor controller used for electric vehicles. I purchased this motor controller from the EPC corporation and they used it lightly at their shop in for test vehicles but never used it myself. This is the standard 1000 amp 250 volt model. It is in great condition but has one small chip on the lid that you can see in the pics but does not affect function or seal. Up for auction is a non-working Raptor 1200A controller. It is being sold as-is and for parts only. These controllers originally sold for $3476 USD. They weren't very many made- and parts are getting harder to find. This controller is damaged because it appears that several mosfets and diodes exploded during operation. We have been parting this controller out over the past few months. But most of it is still there. Up for auction is a used DC motor controller for NEV’s(Neighborhood Electric Vehicles) This unit is a prototype that was originally designed to run high voltage NEV's(96 to 250 volt) Because this unit is a prototype. It is being sold as-is, however, it has been tested and appears to be fully functional(it has been used several times over the years for testing electric vehicles) This unit was originally designed for high voltage golf cars. Small cars, ATVs, and most other high voltage electric vehicles that are under 1000 pounds. It was designed to work with all 96 to 250 volt battery packs. This particular prototype was designed for low inductance motors. And runs at about 16.5 kHz. This is an IGBT-based controller. Please note that this prototype does NOT have over-current protection built-in. It does have voltage protection, so it will ... moreshut down if the voltage drops outside of safe limits. The unit was road-tested and seems to work fine. It is marked"Prototype#3" several places. Controller comes with built-in cables. Uses a standard EPC wiring harness(not included) And is plug-in compatible with all production EPC controllers. If you need the vehicle harness end, please let us know. Unit has some minor scratches on it, but is in otherwise in excellent condition. In spite of being high frequency. This controller has the same plug-and-play software as standard EPC controllers; It will automatically detect any battery pack(from 96 to 240 volts) Motor type, and 3-wire throttle control. This will allow you to simply connect it and drive, if you decide not to use your own software. Requires a 3-wire potentiometer for speed control(such as the Curtis PB-8 or EPC TC1) The owner's manual with wiring diagram is not included. But we can email it to you if you need one. This unit was just upgraded with the latest software. Which includes soft-start(eliminates the jerky throttle response found in some other controllers) and features an optional brake-pedal input.
