Motorola ASTRO SPECTRA SYNTOR X9000 XTL5000 DESK MIC w connector issue
up for your consideration is a Motorola ASTRO SPECTRA SYNTOR X9000 and Version 1 XTL5000 Desk mic(the version one is the basic original head XTL5000 head that looks like an astro spectra) these mics have the more desireable squelch monitor button. If your radio is configured for it, you can open squelch when its pressed. other mics made for trunked radios only, dont have the squelch button. this has a connector issue. It is missing the connector retainer clips, this doesnt prevent use, as long as you arent yanking on the mic cable. theres also some cracking of the cable rubber as it enters the mic.
