It tunes AM and FM along wit Shortwave 2.3-6.25 MHz and 7.1-21.85 MHz. The radio is in excellent condition with some minor wear from use that may include scuffs and scratches. The antenna is also in very good condition with no bends or breaks. Radio operates on 2 C batteries and have installed a fresh set to go along with the radio. This is a perfect looking. Perfect sounding vintage Pioneer TX-950 Digital Synthesized Tuner. I have run this unit for many many hours, and it receives clear static free AM and FM stations. The ONE issue: The Stereo LED is out. I am 100% confident the tuner is receiving, and playing full stereo FM reception. The stereo effects can be heard in the music, and again, it is static free. Every other light, button, function is perfect. The condition of this unit is also spot on. The are zero scratches. Dents, or marks of any kind on the face, top or sides. see pictures) I normally only sell gear that is 100% operational.
