The AVO-2L-C-GL2-N solid state pulse generator is designed for pulsing laser diodes and other low impedance loads with rectangular current pulses as high as 1.5 amperes and pulse widths as high as 30 ns. The diode load is connected in series with a low-value current limiting resistor between two output terminals. Located on an external module which connects to the AVO-2L-C-GL2-N via a 2 foot long coaxial cable. Output amplitude control is achieved by means of a one turn pot control. The output pulse width is also controlled by a one turn pot control. Output polarity is negative. Digital Pulse Generator used for pulse driven devices e.g. stepper motor
This pulse generator is in full working order and measures 17inches wide by 3 1/2 inches tall by 8 inches deep. The 6 digit LED display counter is bi-directional and continuously variable from 0.5 to 200 pulse per second. The steps may be engaged continuously or in bursts operated though the"step" button. The two supplied cards are for the oscillator and display controls. The third socket is for a driver card which will be specific to the particular output device employed(e.g. a stepper motor-not supplied) The two multi-pin sockets are for the output device and a remote control. The pulse generator can be operated either from the panel push button controls and switches or remotely. A full circuit description and diagrams will be supplied. The generator requires a separate 5 to 12V DC source(not supplied)
