The Sweep/Offset Plug-In output looks very good on my Tek o'scope. Important: with this line of HP equipment. Inserting a Plug-In disables the mainframe 3300A functions, replacing them with the Plug-In's functions. To use the 3300A section rather than the plug-in, you'll need to acquire a 3301 Auxiliary Plug-In which was apparently discarded from the deceased's workspace- it looks to the untrained observer like a blank panel and apparently was tossed out. HP 3301 Auxiliary Plug-In panels appear inexpensively from time to time here on EBay. This unit is guaranteed to be working upon arrival.

HP Agilent 83540B Sweep Generator Plug-In for the HP Agilent 8350B sweep generator mainframe. Option 002 70 dB attenuator 24x12x12 12.5 pounds Removed from working test bench equipment. It is in excellent working condition. And appears to be well within specifications for power output and level flatness from 2.0 to 8.4 GHz. I used this in my own HP 8350B sweep generator for a couple years and it works great. I ship via USPS Priority Mail. I can knock $20 off by shipping parcel post.

HP 83545A Plug-in for HP 8350 Sweep Generator and Anritsu Directional Detector
HP Agilent 83545A 5.9 to 12.4 GHz Sweep Generator Plug-In for the HP Agilent 8350 sweep generator mainframe. Shipping weight = 24x12x12" 13 pounds Removed from working test bench equipment. It appears to be within specifications for power output from 5.9 to 12.4 GHz but has a leveling issue. The"Unleveled" light stays lit. I feel that this is merely a calibration issue. But I do not have time to dig further into it. I have used an external directional detector. And this adequately levels the output such that the Unleveled light goes out. I am including this Anritsu Directional Detector in this auction. This also includes a printed copy of the HP 83545 Operation and Service Manual. I used this in my own HP 8350B sweep generator in conjunction with a HP 8756 analyzer for a few years and it works great.
