This is one of the purest signal generators all time. There is hardly a spur above-100dBc. And phase noise is well below my modern, high-end spectrum analyzer. I took several measurements at both 1Hz and 1/10kHz RBW, one to show spurs and one to estimate phase noise. The generator laughs at the-120dB dynamic range on my analyzer. HP-11714A opt k01 Service Accessory Kit for 8662A& 8663A Signal Generator. These are hard to come by. Took me a long time to bag this for my shop. This kit is complete with all of the items listed in photo 2 plus a 1Mhz Low Pass Filter which can be seen in the center of the kit. The tape is marked HP-8662A so it is likely not usable on the 8663A but all the cables. Adapters and extenders are. I have used in many times and it's just what you need to service these fine generators. All of the items are in near new condition and the case was relined as the old foam was getting sticky. I think the K01 opt is the 1Mhz LPF as it is not listed on the inventory pictured. I will box and pad it well. Thanks for looking.

Hewlett Packard 8660C Controller assembly module removed from HP 8660C synthesized signal generator mainframe. I scrapped the HP8660C mainframe since it needed some repairs and it was taking up too much space. Before I scrapped it I tested the controller and it did power up and the controller section appeared to respond when I depressed the front panel keys and it correctly programmed a 86602B RF plug-in when the complete mainframe was tested a couple of weeks ago. This was the extent of my testing. Please note. The 6th digit on the display is partially out on the left side, in the number series on the display, the“4” is not shown correctly since that digit on the display is not good. Otherwise, the controller appears to work OK. Because of this problem I am selling this item for parts or repairs per eBay protocol.
