Heathkit IG-37 FM generator, working with manual and extras, No Reserve
I'm cleaning out my shack of equipment that I'm no longer using. It's been about 5 years since I aligned a vintage stereo receiver. A McIntosh MR-67. This IG-17 is in working condition although I will only guarantee it to not be DOA. I have checked the 19kHz stereo signal output and also the FM RF output and know them to be working. Last time I used it. It worked fine. If you're like me you will want to align it when you get it. Therefore, I'm including a very rare original manual. There is a name written on the cover which I've blanked out for privacy reasons. I have replaced the old microphone connectors on the front panel with BNC connectors to allow use of easy to obtain test adapters. I am also including a very rare RF output adapter with 300 twinlead and a 300 ohm to 75 ohm balun adapter for use with either vintage ... more300 ohm antenna inputs or modern 75 ohm coax input. Although this is a 40 year old piece of test equipment it is still a valuable working instrument. The top and bottom panel are scratched and could use a paint job. All tubes check good and there are no missing knobs. There is a Social Security number engraved on the rear panel that I've also not shown for privacy reasons. A previous owner removed the ground pin of the AC cord but since I use an isolated AC line on my bench. I've never replaced the cord. That's about all I can think of to say about the IG-17. There is no return but I will guarantee it will not be DOA and will be well packed to arrive safely at your location. I ship via USPS Parcel Post. Band 6(520 to 1040 Mhz) is much lower 520 to 652Mhz NO output. 652 to 826Mhz 22 mv pp, 826 to 1040 10 mv pp. The FM and AM modulation works as expected as does the frequency Counter and the Phase Lock. The Modulation Meter has spots on the plastic window. All in all it is fairly clean. If you don't agree with my description or are dissatisfied in any way I accept returns with no hassel.

IFR FM/AM 1200S Service Monitor w/spectrum analyzer and tracking generator
This is my IFR 1200S service monitor with spectrum analyzer. It has the internal battery. And tracking generator options(options 4 and 12) though only option 12 is shown on the label. The battery pack may have been added later. The software version is 7.0. s/n is 11xxx. It has been on my service bench since I acquired it in 1998. I have never taken it out of the shop. It doesn't look like it has ever spent any time in the field. The physical condition is excellent. I had no problems with this monitor up until a short time ago when it developed an intermittent output problem with the signal generator. The unit was sent to KG Electronics for repair and calibration, and the problem was resolved. It is now fully operational as before, and will provide years of service. Calibration is good until August 2015. The only reason I am selling this ... moreunit is that I have a second service monitor that will fit my needs at this point, as well as a stand-alone spectrum analyzer, so am downsizing. In the photos, I could not capture the scope with the waveform of the received signal, despite numerous attempts. Included with this service monitor is a copy of the operations manual, the IFR soft case, new internal batteries, and power cord. The repair invoice for the recent service is also included. It would be hard to find a cleaner or better cared for service monitor. Up for auction is the following item: 1 Hewlett Packard 8656B AM/FM/Sine Signal Generator. Used, for parts only. It's mechanically in good condition, not scratched to death. One side handle is missing. There is some writing on the faceplace, though it's just Sharpie and might come right off. Unit powers up; all buttons respond to being pressed, though a few are sticky and could stand a cleaning. The display works, and it appears that all segments are good, though the plastic lenses have a little bit of hazing if you inspect them very carefully. Electronically.well. That's why it's a parts-only unit. If you look at the picture of the bottom of the unit with the cover off, you'll see something very important is missing: the final RF generator! It looks like it was carefully removed at some point(all of the wires were de-soldered, ... morenot cut. The RF pipes were unscrewed, not cut and bent) but without that, the unit may look good, but it's kind of useless as a signal generator. So, it's good for the rest of its parts, and if you have an 8565B that's has a working final stage but is damaged in some other way, here's a perfect unit for you. I purchased this unit here on eBay a few weeks back. Figuring it would make a good wintertime project, and I could learn some RF while I was at it.
