McLean Trucking Brass Paperweight No. 1 In Texas
Found this in a box in my father-in-law's estate. It was given to him by a McLean salesman around 1980. Measures about 3-3/8" by 3/16" thick and weighs about 9 ounces. It appears to be made of brass with a felt bottom and is in good shape with just a spot of tarnish. Comes with the original box that shows wear from storage. Check out the pictures. And they began collecting patches together during the 1970's through the 1990's. The father passed away in 2001, and the son held onto the patch collection until now. These vintage cards come in the original plastic case and appear to be from the 50's or early 60's. All States logo on the reverse of the cards. Below logo is company motto: First With Those Who Value Dependable Service" Both decks are complete and both are without Jokers. Very Good to Excellent used Condition. Both decks show less than normal wear. No defects found. The color on the back of one deck is gray/silver. The other is a metallic green. Case is also in Excellent condition. No defects noted. The clip on top is clear plastic and shows no scratches or discoloration. Pale green color to base is bright and does not appear to have faded. You are looking at an old/ vintage Cobra 21A cb radio/ transceiver. This item was purchased a long time ago by me along with several other units from my friend. I had hopes in escorting modular homes and never did it so i am selling several vintage units that i have had in a box in my garage. My friend testified that they all worked and had good range. I have never used or tested this unit. This unit was powered on for the picture. Comes with the original cobra mike. Mike looks real good but i am unsure of the integrity as it has not been used by myself. This unit has both side bracket screws. No bracket. On front it has 2 switches( CB/PA, ANL/Off) There are 3 turn type switches( Volume/Off, Squelch, Mic Gain. Turn dial goes to 23 so i assume thats how many channels it has. I never hooked it up or used it but my friend testified that it worked and had good range. After years of being in a box in my garage i have decided to unload it all. I have several old units for sale. I believe that this is a 23 channel unit, thats what the dial reads.
