It is the kind of display stand that you would find in department stores in the 1940's and 50's. The four arms swivel out in different directions so you can position them anyway you want and this display stand is perfect for draping necklaces. Bracelets, ribbons, and many different kinds of accessories. It measures 14 1/2" tall and has a thick cream colored resin, lucite or acrylic base which has the design of stones or pebbles encased within. The cone shaped finial is of the same design. There is some light rust around the metal washers between each ring of each arm and a bit at the base where the metal is inserted into the base. The thick metal ... morerod is in good condition- it does have some spots of metal finish wear and the metal balls at the ends of the swivel arms have some metal finish wear(no rust or corrosion) It is really a neat vintage piece and I have used it for years to hold necklaces. The loop of the lariat as well as the tassle end of the necklace has pretty soft pink button pearls. The pink pearls are a few shade lighter than the pictures.
