3 Mannequin Heads, 18.5" Jewelry/Hat/Wig Store Display-VIntage
You are buying all three of these lovely ladies. They are in good vintage condition. Though could use a good cleaning. I will leave that up to the buyer. They do have scuffs and a few chips, one scrape is obvious on the one on the right's face. They also each have a place on the top of the head where there was paint pulled off/scuffed, probably from double sided tape to hold hair on. The ladies choose to remain together. So you're buying all three shown. They are a heavy material, perhaps fiberglass. I saw on listing like them except for the ears. It said they were Revlon. I don't know. Addendum: oooops. I notice that one has been dropped on her head, probably a concussion, see the last picture. Not terribly noticeable but I am adjusting the price accordingly.

I guess this is a vintage store mannequin of some kind. But I'm really unclear as to her exact origins or purpose. She is roughly 16" tall, and from the back of her hair, to her chin is about 12" She is quite thin when looking head on, but quite wide, when viewed the other way. Kind of Art Nouveau, or Art Deco styling. She is quite heavy, has a frosted texture, not smooth, and is made from some kind of hard plastic, or acrylic. Vintage Modern Sculpture Cast Metal Torso Miniature Mannequin Dress Form 14"
For your consideration a cast alloy metal. Sculptural, female torso. 14 inches tall by 7-1/2 inches at the widest and 4-1/4 inches deep. It weighs just under 4 pounds. It may have been lightly anodized a dark silver tarnish. It has been used for something other than a sculpture there is evidence of markings, of things being stuck or glued to it. The white stripe across the breasts was applied with what looks like Elmer's Glue which can be removed easily. It has no cracks or chips just surface brush marks and stains as well color losses and some stains. By the looks of the inside of the casting it may have some age possibly dating back to the 1960's or 70's. It's a nice piece not hard to look at. It is made of some sort of compostion material. There looks to be a repair to one leg and some general soiling and wear. The ars are detached and will need some work to get them back on. There are little pieces of paper with number on the adjustable knobs that are coming off from being so old. I wired her as a floor lamp, and used different hats for the lampshade. I would find these amazing vintage dresses at thrift shops and dress her in them. Plastic face with make up mannequin head; back and sides of head are Styrofoam for easy attachment of wigs. Hats, etc with pins. Neck is plastic and base is round styro. Used 1960s to 1970s; styro of course has scattered pinholes from previous use, but still has plenty of use left. I closed my shop and don't need them anymore.
