vintage Baby Toddler Child Mannequin BEAUTIFUL many poses no chips or breaks
This auction is for a wonderful vintage life size baby(toddler. Child) mannequin. It has a beautiful hand painted face and a realistic jointed body that can be posed in multiple ways. I believe it is made of fiberglass and has metal jointed arms and one jointed leg. The hair is carved three dimensionally. It has a little minor scuffing and slight separation of one shoulder joint(see photo) that does not affect its function. It is in excellent shape for its age with no chips, cracks, or breaks. Antique Vintage Art Deco Flapper Girl Mannequin Head Store Display She is so gorgeous! Lovely! Curvaceous! But as with anyone in their nineties you have to look deep to see the beauty through the age. This is a store mannequin from Hudson's Department store in Detroit-the lady I bought it from said her mother worked there in the fashions department in the early 1920s. She is obviously art deco with a long slender neck and pronounced collar bones. She also has a nice dimple in her chin. Beauties like her with exaggerated necklines graced the covers of Vanity Fair and art deco posters in the 1920s. She is quite tall for a store mannequin-29" She is about five inches wide from temple to temple. Her head and the square base that she is attached to are made of what appears to be early heavy thick plastic. There is a 3/8" square steel ... morerod attaching her bust to the six-inch cube base. She is quite steady and sturdy when she sits on a level surface. She could be used for displaying vintage hats or an exquisite stand-alone art piece. If you are artistically inclined you could restore her to her former loveliness. Condition: Here's the bad news. There is major paint loss and paint cracking on the mannequin. She has a major crack on her skull. From the center of her head down to the top of her left ear. Some of the plastic has chipped out of the crack. The crack has not changed the integrity of the head because the plastic is thick and sturdy-in other words the plastic does not give when you press your thumb around the crack so I'm sure if you use automobile Bondo or plastic putty you could fill it in. But if you are going to display a hat on it this would not be necessary. If you decide to restore her it will take lots of sanding and a good fill job on the crack. A crack on the left leg, the right hand has been fixed, the arms can be removed. Arms have rubber bands to keep them in place, There is a paint chip on the nose. Very unique pose and unusual piece this is light flesh tone in color. The connections are Greneker type connections so I'm assuming this is from one of their mannequins probably early 1980's. Vintage Look Beautiful Hand Painted Display Mannequin Head by Magda
I'm listing 7 beautiful vintage looking mannequin dolls today. They're being listed individually. They were used in my jewelry store as display mannequins for my jewelry. You can use them for displaying jewelry. Hats, wigs or just plain on their own. They are perfect for home in your vanity/bedroom or use them for store displays. All the mannequins are hand painted and signed by the artist Magda. She still makes and sells them today for $350. each. I won't be selling mine that high, because I had some careless movers that didn't protect them for the move properly. Some of the mannequins have scratches or marks here and there. Vintage Mannequin Head - Gold Flocked Velvet Over Styrofoam
This is a really unusual Vintage Mannequin Head that would be great as a display piece in a vintage store or a home. It is a styrofoam with a flocked gold velvet overlay. It appears as though someone added the makeup later. As opposed to it being original to the manufacture. There are no identifying marks. While there are a few indentations and it does need cleaning. It is still a really great piece. Approximately 11 1/2" high x 21" diameter around the forehead. It is a great standard size for a hat display.

Collectable Vintage Male Wax Mannequin Head Display From France Circa 1920's
Here is a gorgeous male mannequin head made in Paris(photo 11) around the 1920's but there is no date to verify precisely. It is made of wax. Hair, with glass eyes and has a wooden base. The French company that created these heads had a staff of which many artisans worked their specialty on each piece. This one for example has an amazing original factory tag that each artisan would sign off on. On the piece there was an Impanteuse for the hair implanting, a Sculpteur to sculpt it, a Maquilleur or make up man, a Ponceur or craftsman sander, an Ajusteur for adjustments to things like the molds or even the eyes and finally it passes the Coiffeur or hair dresser. A lot of meticulous work went into these vintage display heads. Amazing detail went into every aspect of the face including the very subtle and exquisite paint job or make up that ... moreis still visible today. Picture 5 shows a hole in the back of the head and I do not know why it's there or how it happened. Fortunately it's directly in back so it's not seen. Vintage Buster Brown Maryjane type 25 inch Mannequin unmarked 40's - 50's
Vintage Buster Brown type Mary Jane 25" mannequin advertising doll. These mannequins were used in stores were buster brown items were sold. I think it was made in the late 1940's or 50's. No maker marks. Arms are only thing movable. The indented eye brows. Eyes, lips are painted. Finger tips have some tiny holes maybe from manufacturing defect. You can see the metal rods on her feet were the rods have been cut off, but she can stand on her own. The marked 32" buster Brown mannequins are marked Made by Old King Cole Inc. The biggest difference I see is that this one has a bent left arm and of course smaller.All I have done to her is clean her. Repaint lips& dress her. The clothes are not vintage I made the dress.

This mannequin is very unique. Cannot find another one like it on line to compare value or find the maker or date it was made. The lady I bought it from thought it was her grandmothers and she was in her 50's. But I don't know. It is made of a firm foam like material and covered in pink cotton like fabric. I have never unzipped the cover. Stand moves up and down very well. No stains, tears or odor detected. I'm only using it for display in my vintage shop. The body measures 33" tall. Up for auction is a female upper body mannequin with jointed wood arms! Measurements: Bust 30" Waist 21" Hip/Base 34" Height 21" Cross shoulders 13.5" Arm Length is 19" with ball joints at the shoulders and elbows. The cap at the neck has the initial LM or ML. Overall. Very good condition. Missing the stand but it can stand alone, black paint loss to the wood arms and the felt like fabric body tends to attrack fuzz, hair, etc. Please write with any questions. Mannequin Forms Cobbler Mold Lasts By Woodright More Photographs Below Vintage pair of cobbler shoe lasts wood mannequin forms molds marked 8 C and signed Woodright and dated January 4. 1962. Both forms are also stamped with the number 502. These Mid Century Modern store display mannequin forms are approximately 11" long and 3 1/2" wide across the widest area. The forms are hinged, however, I'm not sure how to work the hinge so I can't say if they are in working order. Overall both forms do show some wear on the wood and the metal heel and toe plates. The metal also shows some rust. These appear to be solid maple and they are quite heavy and have a wonderful aged maple patina.
