For Sale Authentic BMW Dealer Sign. I bought this at a store closing auction in St. Paul MN. When St. Paul Honda/ BMW Closed about 15 years ago. The sign is actually in very good condition and has hung in my garage sine the day that I bought it. It has been modified so that it plugs into a wall socket instead of the hard wiring that was attached when I bought it. The sign measures 5' x 5' and will be fairly costly to ship(Please keep that in mind when bidding) Local pick up would be best. But something can be arranged if desired. This rare tin sign. 13 1/2"x19 1/9" is an original sign used by Buick Dealers/Garages in the 1920's and 1930's around their markets to direct customers to their business. Embossed, with strong vibrant colors, this came out of the ORIGINAL building attic of the dealership recently. The family operated the National Buick Auto Company- Selling McCormick. International, FarmAll, Buick, Dodge, Chrysler and related products until the late 1950's. In 1958 the business closed. At that time many of the remaining items where moved into the second floor parts/service area and forgotten about until recently discovered. This manual was used for the soul purpose of maintaining color, lettering and product consistency within the company at each location of the stations, signage, pumps, and support equipment.
