I first thought this was a MAYA Mexico piece done in Mexico City in the 1940's.however. According to Bille Hougart's"The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade& Hallmarks" the Crown was a hallmark of Antonio Pineda. According to the"Little Book" The highly innovative& accomplished Antonio started at William Spratlings"Taller de Las Delicias. He opened his own successful shop"Antonio" in 1941. He used a CROWN in his designs to hallmark his pieces. This is a beautiful pendant/necklace for a cameo. It is marked ALLCO-which is the abbrev. for A.L. Lindroth Co. from Attleboro. Massachusetts. That company produced pieces from 1896-1937. It is a beautiful design-looks like leaves-with a rose gold design in the center. This is most likely gold-plated-there are no marks. But it isn't tarnished at all! Kept in a jewelry box for all these years-looks like the day it was purchased. Even the back-though it looks like tarnish in one pic-that is just a shadow-bright gold-front and back. The chain is fine-delicate-prob. gold-filled-with nice clasp.
