This has a great look to it as is for that shabby chic look or decorative purpose. The form is in relativly good condition. Is missing a few wing nuts used to adjust, you could get some at the hardware store for a few dollars, also three of the adjustments have pulled out of the frame on the bottom(see pics) they would need to be reattached if you wanted to use this for it's intended purpose. One is completly unattached and is loose, but will come with it. I have had it for a few years just as is with a scarf and neclace on it in my dressing room and it looked great just the way it is! Hi. Here is a fabulous, vintage, wicker countertop mannequin. It is approximately 3 ft. tall and about 15" shoulder to shoulder. It is in excellent condition with no holes or breaks in the wicker that I can see. The only flaw is the paint job that a previous owner did to the intimate parts of the body. However, it would be covered in most instances with display clothing. It can stand on it's own or it can be hung by the factory woven holes on the left and right sides of the neck. I have had this for a little over twenty years and purchased it from a shop in a little town on Lake Michigan. I would guess that it is at least from the 40's and maybe older. The form will adjust to just about any shape I would think any one would need to make clothes. It will adjust down to 37" tall if you wanted to work on a table and upto 65 1/2" if you wanted to stand up while working. The base is cast iron and will be wrapped seperately you will just need to screw it back on. The off white shirt was used by the dress maker and does have holes that you see in the picture. There is a metal looped bar which I did not take a photos of but it is included in the box. The pole of the stand has black measurements on it. Primitive Antique Store Display Mens Shirt Form Torso Form Dress Form Mannequin Who-hoo- went to my first auction of the summer- it was a farm estate auction literally right down the street from me. The former owners had lived there since he had gotten out of the military after enlisting during WWII. And her family had been on the property for generations before that. It’s all farm stuff- household, barn, outbuildings, property- many items from the 1800s and up. Lot of old iron, barn digs, primitives and pretties- I’m so excited to show them to you! Enjoy! Here is a fabulous store used. Mens shirt or torso form that I'm told dates back to the 1800s. The color of the piece is black- my camera tends to make all black look grey sometimes, and it is not. I don't know what to call the material- it reminds me of a paper mache type of make, ... morenot as heavy as an iron form, it weighs 5 1/2 lbs. From the peaks that I get at the bottom where the black material is worn, the base/frame of the torso appears to be a paper board- see photo 14 where you can see the material flayed or spread at the bottom ends where the black material is worn. The black material that it is covered with looks very much like leather to me- I can't tell for sure, so supersize and see what you think. It has dry crackled spots and small holes(at the back) and just has the look to me- but I can't tell for sure, from the underside, it has a burlap look under the back, too- so maybe it's that? The neck and the inside center(above the opern area of the front) are solid wood- you can see in photos 2, 22& 23. That bottom piece of wood is totally black, where the neck was left unpainted. From the hole in the bottom piece of wood, I'm assuming that the form used to have a stand, white I do not have, but know it sits totally securely on a table or flat surface. It was designed to display mens' attire, and has the build of a man. Measuring 28" tall to the highest point of the neck, it is 22 3/4" tall at the shoulder sides.

The Dress Form measures 51 inches in height. 14-1/2 inches wide, and 10 inches deep. It weighs 13-1/2 pounds. The form has the typical Wolf markings on it in block letters and numbers.
