Promax RG5000 recovery HVAC refrigeration air conditioning
I am selling my Promax RG5000 recovery unit for HVAC refrigeration/air contitioning. It was my personal unit until I got a deal on a Bachrach Stinger. It worked the last time I used it. And it is in decent shape. There are two known issues: 1) The high side gauge will not go below 50psi as shown in the picture. But it does work for anything above 50psi. This was never a huge deal for me since I never had that much pressure in the tank at one point anyways. 2) The last time I used the unit. About 5 months ago, I noticed that I lost some refrigerant, and after closer examination, I found that the refrigerant was leaking from the Brass Purge Plug on the front of the unit. So the unit will need a new o-ring washer for the purge plug. I don't know if there was another spot it got lost at. So for that reason, the unit will be sold as is with ... moreno returns. The only thing I know of is look at the pics that shows the bottom of the recovery unit,1 of the rubber foot grommets came off and I put a piece of round rubber to replace it. Does not affect the use at all, this just prevents the unit from walking off when recovering refrigerant or sliding around in your service truck.
