This is a Cleveland twist drill Company hand Reamer 5/8 inches high speed steel straight fluted. The list number is 624. There are also other part numbers written on the outside case which are difficult to read however I think the numbers and letters might be C0 3261 EDP 24532. I bought this as a lot and it came out of an old text all manufacturing factory in upstate of South Carolina. It appears to have never been used because it is still very sharp and no apparent damage. However there is some surface rust on the shaft and a little bit on the cutting surface. I don't believe it is anything a little bit of steel wool would not pull off of it. Lot 4 High Speed Straight Flute Hand Reamer Bits Whitman & Barnes 7/16 1/2 5/8 +
This is a lot of 4 hand reamer bits. Three of them are Whitman& Barnes brand. High speed straight fluted hand reamers, in their original tubes. The other one has spiraled flutes, and says on the shank: Stevens New York 3052X. The W&B ones are sizes 7/16" 1/2" and 5/8" The Sharpie in the photos is not included. It's there for a size reference. All 4 bits have square drive ends. I am not familiar with these tools. So I cannot accurately say how good they work. They look like they're in great shape. They feel sharp to the touch. Look at the pics close up. I don't see any burrs, damages, or significant wear; just some light surface oxidization.
