Eddie Bauer 3 in1 utensil pocket knife fork spoon stainless steel set Ka-Bar
This is a stainless steel knife. Fork and spoon Eddie Bauer 3 in 1 utensil set with a sturdy cloth case that has the Eddie Bauer logo on it. The case has a velcro close on it. I listed it as used but I am not sure it was ever used. When I separated it into the 3 pieces(you have to pull on it to get it to separate) it had some of the original oil on it. I tried to show how it separates and goes back together. You have to pull on it to get the round pieces to come out of the slots. It slides back rather easily. All pieces fold out easily. Up for auction is a set of three Glo-Hill dinner forks from the Fastasteak line. These are approx. 7 1/2" long. Have golden yellow/ brown bakerlite handles and stainless steel blades and are in really great condition. Unpackaged weight- 90g. Some history of the company: In 1946. Sol Globus officially registered his business, The Glo-Hill Corporation, in Montreal. Sol, his two brothers(Paul and Leo Globus) and his Brother-in-Law(Harry Hill) sensed the change that was on its way and took adantage of it. Together, the Globus Brothers and Harry Hill became'Glo-Hill'The Globus Brothers were of Belgian descent, their family having arrived in Canada at the beginning of the 1900's. The young brothers began their business in Montreal as cutlers and manufactured lovely carving sets and cutlery. Later, the business grew and began offering ... morechrome holloware pieces used in home entertaining: serving trays, Cocktail items and kitchen tools of various sorts. Situated right on the river in Montreal, Glo-Hill's factory was well-placed to take advantage of materials available from factories located along the Eastern Seaboard. Labconco stainless steel metal cold trap NW16 fitting vacuum pump oven
Stainless steel metal cold trap. It has NW16/ KF16/ QF 16 flanges on both sides for easy connection to vacuum systems. These traps are usually connected before a vacuum pump to capture volatile compounds before they reach the vacuum pump oil. The metal cavity gets filled with dry ice and a solvent that doesn't freeze(acetone. IPA, Ethanol, Methanol or similar) to cool the metal and vapors on the vacuum side will condense on the cold metal. Great to hook up between a vacuum oven and a vacuum pump for example. I hooked up the pump to a rotary vacuum pump and i managed to pump down the system to 18 millibar. note: vacuum gauge and vacuum display not included. These are my own, just used for testing)
