I bought both the large Rigid Kollman floor model and this hand held K-39 model at the same time when I thought I would be doing a lot of plumbing work on homes I would rehab. Turns out I did two homes. I used the big machine 5 or 6 times and just sold it after sitting in my basement for a bunch of years. I was going to keep the K-39. Since it is smaller and I only used it twice in a cramped space under a sink on the first home. Not a lot of fun when you have to use these machines, but they definitely do the job. Truth is, I will likely never use it again, nor do I really want to, so I'm going to also sell it. It runs perfectly. As it should given the almost no use to speak of. It is kind of heavy, but I should be able to ship it for $25 so that is what I'm charging.

Antique Electric Sewer Or Pipe Snake Cleaner 74' Snake Cast Iron Works Great This is a wonderful old compact antique Sewe Rooter Jr. Model# L-2901 made by General Wire Spring Company Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. I bought this our local sale and have no history for it. I did plug it into a normal 120v receptacle after putting a little oil on it and it works perfectly in both forward and reverse. It is in excellent condition for its age actually I can't find anything wrong with it except the foot pedal on/off switch is broken and the wire is cracking. The little push button on/off switch was removed and it was wired together so what you do is you plug in the foot pedal to turn it on and unplug it to turn it off. I doubt that this would be very hard to repair or of course you ... morecan use it as it is. The outside case of the wiring is old and cracking up but the wire insulation on the inside is still in good condition. The 74 foot heavy duty cable(snake) is in excellent condition with no rust and it's not kinked. Every place there are moving parts there is an Oiler so this will probably last forever if you keep it oiled. The handle slides underneath the unit so it's out of the way when you're using it but can easily be pulled out so you can pick it up and move it around on the wheels. Its measurements when the handle is closed is 22" x 14" x 18" tall an it is quite heavy weighs in at 75 pounds. I will have to ship this in 2 boxes because a post office will not allow anything over 75 pounds. The foot pedal and snake will be in one which will weigh in right around 30 pounds and the other box will weigh in at about 58 pounds with the rest of the unit in it. Estate find. Vintage sewer/drain snake. Looks to be about 100' of line but I cannot guarantee that. I have a 72' greenhouse and the line went the full length with many coils left inside the housing. Handle turns freely and all parts work as they should. Line is 1/2 inch with a 1.25 inch head on the line. Stands roughly 22 inches tall and 15 inches wide. The color makes me think that it is from the 1950's. Back when they built things to last. This is heavy.
