My grandfather had this to drain his small coy pond down a bit each year before winter. He busted on of the legs off a bit so that it would sit on a cylinder block that he put in there. At least that was his theory) It works great. It was only used 5-6 times. I put it in a five gallon bucket of water and it drained the water out of the bucket before I could unplug it. This is a Hycor Hypress unit. It is designed for solids dewatering and solids transport conveyor. It has a rated capacity of 60 cubic feet per hour. This is used in a sewage or waste water treatment application. Or any other place where you wish to separate liquids from solids, and return the liquids while transporting the solids to a remote area or hopper. This lot contains the basic solids press assembly. A hydraulic power pack, and discharge piping, as well as the control panel. The unit is constructed with 304 stainless steel. The 5HP hydraulic power pack. And the stainless pipe included are probally worth more then my asking price. I was going to set this up as a concrete pump for slab jacking with a smaller 120v pump and a reducer at the end with a hose. The design is very similar to the commercial concrete jacking systems. They have ... morethe same ram setup. On wheels, and a 2" hose off the end. Should be an easy adaptation. The basic press consists of 10" diameter stainless steel cylinder adapted to contain the press ram and solids inlet hopper. Theo inlet hopper has a flange face to allow attachment of a chute or hopper extension. The bottom had a series of slots cut into the pipe wall to allow for dewatering drainage. a drain pan is under the unit to collect drainage and return to the process flow. The press ram is operated by a reciprocating hydraulic cylinder. The cylinder is attached to the ram head and is automatically controlled by the operating pressures and limit switches. The hydraulic pressure is provided by a 5HP 230/460v 3 ph motor driven pump. with a 10 gallon tank. The control panel was designed for 460v 3 phase power and is in a Nema 4 enclosure with standard industrial control switches on the front. The factory installation. Service, parts, and design drawings are included in a full 3 ring binder. Also included is all of the discharge stainless steel piping and flanges in the last photo.
