Rare Vintage 1930s Max Sievert Svea Campus 3 Stove
This is a very rare Max Sievert Campus 3 Hiking Stove manufactured in Sweden in the 1930's. Sievert eventually became the Svea Co and this stove is the forerunner of the Svea 123. This one has had a hard life. The original key is present and the valve turns. I have not tested to see if it will fire up. The front is stamped Max Sievert Stockholm. Campus 3, For Benzoline, Made in Sweden. The key is also stamped made in Sweden. Certainly worthy of a restoration attempt. A rare item in any conditon, sold as found. The stove has been tested with alcohol and found to be in working order. Seals are good. Tank retains pressure, the seal on the stem above the spirit cup was bad when found and has been replace with a proper new seal. The stove has the 1915 burner and a silent burner cap, the burner is very quiet and convertible to kerosene. The brass tank is in good shape, retains its as-found patina mixed in with the original yellow brass finish. There are a few scuffs/chips to the paint from normal use. Being designed for a boat, the stand has the pot retainer bars attached, the bars are adjustable to allow for fitting around pots of different sizes and keeping the pot from sliding off the stove while rocking ... moreon the waves at sea. Vintage Max Sievert (SVEA 123) stove w/ Sigg Tourist Pan Set
Vintage original Max Sievert(SVEA 123) Stove w/ Sigg Tourist Pan Set and Coleman Funnel fuel filter. This stove looks like it has been repaired(see pic.5) on the stem. The correct Flame Bell is dented around the top(see pic#4& 5) and is missing the correct Flame Spreader. A after market one is included and fits fine. Also this is not the correct key but works with the stove. If you keep checking Ebay these items often show up. The fuel tank is in excellent condition(no dents or major scratches) and does have the correct fuel cap. This stove has not been used since late 70's and was working at that time. The Sigg Tourist Pan set is in excellent used condition with some minor dents on the bottom of the top pan(see pic. 10& 11) all are correctly marked with the Sigg Logo. Included is the Pot handle. Antique Original Sievert Bakelite Handled Soldering Blowtorch
I am pleased to offer for auction today this really cool. Vintage, black bakelite handled, blowtorch. Made by the famous Max Sievert firm in Sweden. This blowtorch is late 1940's to early 1960's vintage and is in excellent, clean condition. It measures approx. 10 1/2" in length from round tip end, to the back, brass connector screw bolt. The brass has taken on a beautifully aged patina. The top valve knob turns freely with a nice, slight tension to it. Stamped Sievert, Made In Sweden on top flat surface area.
