Burner and collar assembly, Pyrex glass insert, enamel coated ste el top with handle and n ut. Inside the bottom of the burner it says"Made in U.S.A. by the Coleman C ompany Inc. Witchita. Kans. The date code is from June of 1970 something, the last number is hidden from view. There is a c hip in the enamel on top near the nut and there is a little bit of oxidation on the inside of the burner. It has light signs of use and we ar. Overall i t's in good condition. Up for auction is a hard to find vintage coleman double burner gas stove. I believe everything is there but I am not 100% sure. Please look at the pictures and maybe you'll know by looking at it. The primer knob is in good shape and I am not sure if it is a leather or rubber seal inside it. I was told if you put a little oil on it that it would help seal it better. I did not try it to see if it works and I am honestly a little scared to. I'm sure it wouldn't blow up in my face but I get nervous since it is gas with flames close by. Vintage Coleman Stove. Model is 426D, 3 Burner gasoline stove, condition is used, I took a damp rag to this to remove dust from years of storage, I did not try and scrub grates or remove cook stains from item. This has sat for many years but appears mechanically sound. Overall stove measures 13.5 x 6 x 28.5, 3 Burners with controls to light only the two on left or one on right side, cook grates swing upward in two pieces, galvanized metal on base of stove has surface rust from age, red fuel tank has some rust present around tank seam, hand pump on side, on/off control knobs present, cover wind shields swing open and close with ease, some blackening of green paint finish due to use. Fuel tank had some residual fuel which I dumped out of tank. I attempted to pressurize tank as follows, closed off main fuel tank valve wheel, loosened hand pump ... moreknob, held my finger over hole on end of pump knob, pumped a bunch of times, did not pressurize. Not sure if a gasket or O ring is missing etc. I did not investigate further and I am not familiar with using these type of stoves. Rare 3 Burner model seldom seen around. Check out my other items! Vintage Gas Tank Propane Float Guage without the guage on the bottom. This is an old float we found in an old gulf distribution center. We just bought out another which makes 2 old Gulf Distrubution Centers and both have lots of merchandise from it from the 60s-80s. I'm not sure of the age of this float. As far as I can tell it works fine but it doesn't have the guage in it. I do have some in my store while supplies last that do have the guages in them. It needs some cleaning but the mechanism moves freely. All of this can be seen in my pictures and I suggest you look at them to make sure you agree with the condition we have stated and make sure we have not missed something. American Flyer S scale Custom Propane tank car
This is a custom manufactured"pressure type tank" mounted on a# 625 AF cast frame. This tank is new and is a simulation of a propane tank car of the 1950's. It features the over-end ladder and catwalk that adjoins with a std AF reproduction platform. The logo is a custom as well with make believe gas company logo. Devil's Breath Gas Company" over the little guy breathing fire with{ We bring on the heat" and{ No Pain Propane" to finish off the decal and logo. This tank can be mounted on any 925 or 625 frame as the tank and saddles( with the alignment key) are affixed to the tank and ready drop into place just as if it were a std. Flyer tank. This tank has the yellow stripe on each end of the tank. The tank is connected to the frame by one 6-32 screw. It may be necessary to open the hole in your frame a bit(for ... morescrew clearance) should you decide to mount the tank on a# 925 frame. Note: The later model plastic frames are configured differently and is not compatible with this tank. The cast frame is in good condition with all steps and no cracks. All journal boxes are present and all wheels are in good condition. The car has been converted to KC couplers on both ends. All wheels have been cleaned. In my opinion it would be considered a heavy weight car. It provides for a stable car and trails well in a consist.
