Ridgid 535Pipe Threader Working with Cart Needs Some Repairs
This is a used Ridgid 525 Threading Machine. It has capacity of up to and including 2" rigid pipe threading. It includes the 4 wheeled cart as shown in pictures. I powered this up and it works both directions but there is a chatter when running. I removed the hood and the motor and all gearing appear to be fine so my guess is the front bearing needs replacing. I tested this by cutting a 1" pipe off and threading it as shown in the pictures. It worked fine doing that job other than the chatter as it was turning. The oil feeder tube along the carriage needs the end seal replaced as it leaks some oil and the the end of the tube. pretty normal for these machines this age) Both front jaws and rear centering ring work smoothly and easily. Die head has 1-2" dies as shown in OK condition. Reamer and pipe cutter are OK but could use ... morea new cutter wheel as the oe in it is getting dull. The oiler pump works great after I primed it. This machine is as I received it. 120 volt operation. Foot pedal works great. The cord is taped up a little and the plug end needs to be repaired as the cord is pulled out of the plug but it is solid and has all three prongs intact. Unit is being sold as is needing some repairs which is why it is priced as it is. SHIPPING to LOWER 48 states to closest freight dock or your business if you have a shipping dock or fork truck. Otherwise you pay the extra freight for lift gate residential service. Also may be picked up locally for free 48603 area. Large Vintage Antique Metal Oxwell Bronze Needle Threader Gadget Marked
This auction is for a Large Vintage Antique Metal Oxwell Bronze Needle Threader Gadget! I am not exactly sure what it is or what it was used for. But it looks like a needle of some sort to me. It measures about 11 3/4" long& has a hole at one end measuring about 1/2 of an inch. difficult to see in pictures as it is slighly twisted. I am not sure if it was made this way or not. An Antique Armstrong Pipe Threader with Dies in its Original Dovetailed Wood Box. If you are a Tool Collector this Set has what most collectors are looking for. Provenance, and this one really has it. This Set was owned by an individual who contacted Armstrong Bros. Tool Co. in 1971. The letter was answered by the Vice President of the Company, Paul Armstrong. According to the letter this set was made between 1895 to 1915. Please take a moment to read the letter, which is included in the sale. The box measures approximately 14 1/4" long by 7 1/2" deep by 5" high to give you an idea of the tools size. The Original Wood Box has dovetails which are 1/8" in size. This auction is for(1) Used Ridgid No 460. Tristand Chain Pipe Vise for up to 6" Pipe. This Pipe Vise is in excellent used condition and ready to put to work. It shows some normal wear and is a littler dirty from use. One of the legs is missing the rubber foot but it has the chain to wrap them together. The model 460 sells for around $370 new plus shipping. So you can get a great pipe vise and save a bunch here. The legs will be removed for shipping but they are very easy to put back together.
