And functions properly. It has some normal use wear, and some surface discoloration in many areas(see Pictures) I am not sure how old it is. It belonged to my father. It could use some cleaning as it has sat on my father's workbench for many many years. The vise is heavy. Weighing approximately 15 pounds on my scale(my scale has been wrong before. So the weight is an approximation) The vise jaws open up to about 4.25 inches(see Picture#10) The jaws have some normal use wear. The handle/ bar to open and close the vise turns well but could benefit from some grease. A nice piece overall given its age. I am not an expert on these items. For sale is a Ridgid 460 Tristand. The unit comes as pictured. Chain and everything seem in fine condition. Stand locks in fine. There are some paint chips/rust but appears fully functional. Unit weighs about 50 pounds and with the size cost quite a bit to ship. Measures about 44" tall and the base is about 14"x18" I have a pipe threader and other equipment. Ridgid model 22(40085) yoke type pipe vise in"GREAT" used condition. The operating range of this vice is from 1/8" 2 1/2" pipe. The only thing wrong with this item is the paint(and some minor surface rust) It shows no noticeable wear and is in as found(auction purchase) condition except for the serrated jaw faces. I did remove them. Ran them through the blast cabinet and clear coat them just to eliminate the surface rust so you could see them better. There are no significant chips or any other sign of heavy usage I can see. This tool will perform nearly as well, if not as well as a new one for a lot less money. This tool weighs slightly under 13 pounds. I have set the rate calculator up for U.S.P.S. Ridgid 550 Reciprocating Pipe Saw w/ Case & Vise
This is a used Ridgid 550 reciprocating saw with a chain vise. On off switch and variable speed switch works like it should. The vise works like it should and doesn't look like it was used much. I made a little adapter out of mild steel so you can use standard blades for small cuts. Only one blade is included but it is dull. This saw is made in Germany and is made very well. I opened the gear cover and everything looks like new and not worn out.
