The Ridge Tool Company. Maker of Rigid tools is a favorite among plumbers for its fine quality hand tools. These small to medium pipe cutters can handle pipes from 1/8 to 1 1/8 OD. They will neatly cut soft metal like copper or aluminum or thin steel. The triangular blade is good for cleaning pipes and conveniently folds into the back of the tool. Although Rigid still makes#10 and#15 cutters, these were in use in the 1950's or 1960's, as indicated by the relatively thin lenticular milled steel handles. I lightly clean and oil tools for sale and make sure they work well. These fine tools are good for another 50 or more years of hard work, or can be retired to a fine collection of innovative American steel hand tools.

But the first belongs to Schwarz. This is a large 2 3/4 inch square heavy bronze high relief medal. Listed by Kaiser as his#252 and the third medal in his section on airships. It's time for this very cool chopper to find a new home: It has been in the back of the closet for awhile. Jesse James ~ West Coast Choppers ~ CFL Rigid ~ JJ03-18-22 Chopper. Never taken out of the box. The tape on the inside of the box is still in place. However, the tape on both sides is a bit loose and not very sticky. The box has a lot of wear on the sides, edges and corners, there are some light marks on the plastic window and a few indents in the box, but the chopper is in wonderful condition. Bright, colorful and very cool. It is a die cast material, with a 1:18 scale size. It measures about 6.25" long by about 3.5" tall.
