I don’t know too much about this device. But the action on the chain vise portion seems to work fine, and overall the unit seems to be in pretty good used condition. The stand shows some moderate wear from use. Including: There are scuffs. Scratches, minor dings to the stand, plus some chips to the painted portions. There is some surface rust here and there. With some a bit heavier on the feet. This is a very nice No. 11 Pipe Vise by the Erie Tool Works of Erie Pennsylvania. No breaks or welds or markings from previous owner. The Vice is in exceptional condition given that its been used but it couldn't have been used a whole lot because the teeth are still nice and sharp. It would be very very easy to pull this one apart and clean it up and paint it. It probably would look like brand new if this was done. Or you can just bolt it up and use it! Whats nice is with one this clean you have the option of restoring it if so desired.
