Very nice working Wood Case Bendix Tube Radio Model#753M from the 1950"s. Bought this a few years ago from a local appliance store where the owner was an old radio collector and repairman and since has been mainly used as a display piece. The clock keeps very good time and the Radio turned on and I was able to tune into a few Am Radio stations. I am out in the country with no Am stations close by so the stations came in weakly. Not sure if the stations were to far away or if the tuner might need some work. Case has some dings here and there. But nothing major. Pretty good shape for an old radio. Measures approximately 9" tall X 10 1/4" wide x 6" deep. Look at the pictures as to the condition as these are the best description. This auction is for the Radio shown A Montgomery Ward Airline Bakelite Tube Radio Twin Speaker c1950's Model No. WG1637A The Radio is in very good external condition without chips or cracks. It also works great with a rich deep sound and warms up quickly. The problems are shown in the pictures. The cardboard back holding the antenna is missing the top corners. On the inside of the case the upper right post for the backing has broken off and you will need a new bulb for the frequency bar back light. Also, The radio has only one speaker. Up for auction is a Wonderful Herschede 9 Tube/Tubular Grandfather/Hall Clock. Serial Number; 407233. Circa 1945-46. The clock's dimensions are approximately; H- 77" W- 21" D- 13" The Case: The mahogany and satinwood case is in excellent physical condition. There are no breaks. Chips, major cracks that I can see. The original finish has a wonderful patina and looks fantastic for a clock that is almost 70 years old. This case has not been refinished and is exactly what a collector wants, nothing altered or changed that I can see. Also, on the door of the clock, there is a small little plaque that reads, The Herschede Hall Clock Co. Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, Panama Pacific International Exposition 1915, Grand Prize" The Dial/Face: The silver and gold plated dial is in excellent physical condition and has a wonderful patina. ... moreThe lunar calendar is beautifully painted with no chips or missing paint that I can see. The hour. Minute and second hand are original and fit tightly to the arbors. The Mechanism: The Herschede 8 day weight driven 1/4 hour chiming mechanism has been running flawlessly for me for the last couple weeks. It has a strong ticking sound and keeps very accurate time. The clock chimes. Westminster, Canterbury and Whittington chimes beautifully. The sound of the 1/4 hour chime and hourly strike are wonderful. The sound resonates for a nice long time. There are numerous patent dates on the back plate of the mechanism, they range from, Aug. 27, 1914 to Jan 4, 1921. Beneath these patent dates, there is a serial number that reads, 407233. The Pendulum: The Herschede pendulum is complete and looks great. I did put a magnet to the bob and it did not stick. It fell off. The Weights: The 3 brass weights are original and have a wonderful patina and look fantastic. I can not see any dents. Breaks, chips, etc. The Tubes: The 9 tubes are original. Easton Ec 90 SLX black carbon fork 43mm rake 230mm tube 1 1/18 steering tube
Nice used Easton EC 90 SLX Carbon Fork. There is a couple tiny smuges(I dont think you can even see them in picture and they are pretty much insignificant) but overall the fork is in excellent condition and could probably pass as new. The tube has been cut but there is plenty of length left at 230mm. Great light fork for a great price MSRP $385.
