Glass insert, but if you compare the first picture above with the last picture which a common type insert you can see the vast difference. Both tubes are rotating type with duel filaments. This tube withstands much higher energies than the typical tube. Compare the anode sizes and the cathode(filament side) of the tubes with each other. Both anodes of these tubes, rotate by electromagnetic induction. Vintage Antique 1800's Cast Iron CHEMISTRY GLASS BEAKER TUBE CLAMP Altered Art
Original antique late 1800's to early 1900's cast iron chemistry glass tube clamp holder in good condition. The clamp has some rust but it would clean up. The screw to tighten the mount turns freely and the two ends can be separated with no problems with the threads. The wing nut in center is frozen. The spring is weak but the screw can be pulled out and another spring put on. Crate GT-80 Guitar Amplifier Amp Tube & Solid State Hybrid 80 Watts
Do you have a limited budget but need some serious juice? Crate gets a bad name but this amp is actually really cool and built really well. It's a GT-80 and for its size it can get LOUD! Great built in reverb. The coolest thing is that it's a tube/ solid state hybrid- there's a switch that lets you select from using 2 12AU7s and one 12AX7 to solid state. It also has two channels- lead" which is heavy and driven. And then"rhythm" which has higher cleans. Theres full gain, verb, volume, and EQ controls for each channel. There's also two foot switch inputs- channel or tube switcher. And reverb. Foot switch not included. there's also an external speaker jack if you want to run another cab. Yes. It has a few tolex nicks and a couple blemishes in the grill cloth- but it looks more"worn in" than"worn ... moreout. If the looks really bother you I'll rewrap the grill for an extra $25. I probably have no more than 25-30 hours on it. Mainly a practice amp. I'm the only owner- bought it at a box store a lifetime ago. Non smoking home.

Crate 1/2 stack Blue Voodoo BV120H USA made all tube amp and matching 4 x 12 cab
This is a Made in USA Crate all tube amp and utilizes Sovtek Groove tubes. The amp has 2 channels(clean and dirty) Effects loop, 2 speaker outputs(switchable 8ohm-16ohm) and direct out. Simple but effective EQ on both channels, separate reverb for each channel and a master presence. Rated at 100w RMS some claim it is 120w. To me it is every bit as loud as a Marshall if needed. The matching 4x12 cab contains Celestion Vintage 30 speakers. The amp and cab all work perfectly. The overall condition is very good with only a few spots where the tolex is worn. Mostly on the back of the cab. The rear board of the cab was re-covered in trunkliner to make it more durable when transporting. Included is the power cord and a heavy duty Fender speaker cord. Cab setup is 16ohms. The channels are also foot switchable but I do not have a footswitch. They ... morecan be found online for 10-30 dollars so not very expensive if you need one. Due to the size and weight I prefer not ship this so it is local pickup only in Naples Florida although I might be willing to deliver it to the southeast coast of Florida(Broward/Palm Beach area) since I am there a few times a month. Simple blues tone machine. Dual Black plate RCA 6V6's into a 10" Jensen p10r speaker. Two 12AX7 preamp tubes and 5Y3 rectifier. Call it a deluxe JR. Sweet sweet tone with a Strat. Breaks up a little with a Les Paul. The finish is flaking off. Cabinet is in rough shape cosmetically, but it is solid structurally, no rattling or anything when cranked. I upgraded the power cord to a safe 3-prong, power supply caps all refreshed. other caps are healthy too, so it should be ready to go a long time. Vintage 1965 66 Kalamazoo USA (by Gibson) Model two tube guitar Harp amp
This amp has had several upgrades and is ready to jam. It is a 5 watt class A amp with tremolo. Hand wired in the USA by Chicago Musical Instruments, the parent company of Gibson back in the 60's. The tremolo tube has been replaced with an early 1980's Fender tube. All other tubes appear to be original. Speaker has been replaced with a generic 10" Speaker baffle was upgraded to a more sturdy plywood instead of the crappy particle board. Power cord has been upgraded for safety to a 3 prong plug. And the"Death Cap" has been eliminated. On\off switch has been moved to its own switch where the fuse was located, to remove the mains from the volume control where the original was. Electrolytic capacitors have been replaced to reduce hum. The cabinet is in rough shape. But I feel that it adds character. Supro Amplifier Sportsman Reverb Tremolo S6698 Vintage Valco Tube Amp Amplifier
Vintage Supro Sportsman. This amp has Tremolo and Reverb. Tube compliment is 2x6l6gc 5x12ax7. All new tubes. Electrolytic filter capacitors, 15ft grounded cord, all new switchcraft jacks, controls cleaned. This one has nice tube distortion when cranked as you back of the volume there is plenty of clean headroom. Reverb is very full and the amp has its original Gibbs reverb tank thats about 17" long. Tremolo works well also. I do not have the original pedals but both functions can be used without a pedal. Free shipping in the USA.
