1893 World's Columbian Exposition Machinery Hall Trade Card-Blasius Pianos
Hello and welcome to this unusual vintage postcard sized trading card for the Blasius& Sons Piano Company of Chestnut Street. Philadelphia depicting Machinery Hall of the Worlds Columbian Exposition of 1893. They would have been sent by the W.H. Elliot Company in Manchester, New Hampshire. The card was published by the Ward Bro's of Columbus, Ohio No. 15. Please see the attached photographs which display the condition of the card. It measures 3 1/2 inches by 6 inches. It has some rounded corners. A bit of edge wear. There is a fold in the card that does not show in the photos. It is located to the left of the left hand spire of the Hall, and runs vertically down through the card. Looking at the back of the card it runs from between the A and S of Blasius and on down through the I of Elliot. There is age related fading, more on the ... moreback than the front.
